Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1208

The guy was fuming, ready to throw down. "No way, everything Chen said is pure BS! Do I look like that kind of guy?"

Chad kept his cool, asking, "So why'd you go back to kidnapping after you got out of jail?"

"I needed the cash, alright?" the man shouted.

Chad slammed the table. "So you sold her to Big Mike, huh?"

The man fired back, "No way, I sold her to Troy."

Chad leaned back, his fingers tapping the table calmly, his tone steady, eyes like ice. "Where's Troy?"

Seamus, staring at Chad's calm demeanor, suddenly realized he'd been cornered.

"It was all just talk," he stammered, nerves betraying him.

"Come clean now, and it'll work in your favor. Stay quiet, and believe me, your crew will jump at the chance to get a lighter sentence. You really think keeping mum means the cops can't get to you? Just mentioning 'Troy,' and they'll be all over it."noveldrama

"You think you can scare me?" the man cursed.

Chad smirked, "For doing something so despicable, you get ten seconds to decide. After that, the chance is gone."

He started counting down, watching his watch. "Ten, nine, eight...three, two," "Watanabe."

Chad stood up. "Mr. Hady never bothered to mention you because you're not worth it!" This was the first time Chad had ever insulted someone openly. Usually, he was the picture of calm authority, but his hatred for traffickers got the better of him.

With that, he left, leaving the man pounding the table in fury, wishing he could rip Chad apart.

Outside, Easton gave his buddy a proud hug. "When we get back, thank Molly for me. She 'trained' such an awesome team leader."

Chad chuckled warmly. "Can't do that, she'd get too cocky."

After being out late for a couple of hours, Chad came back to find his wife and son sleeping in the same position, blissfully unaware of his absence.

Quietly, Chad snapped a picture of them, bent down to kiss each of them, changed, and slipped back into bed.

The next morning, there was Officer Chad, sitting by the bed, watching his family. "Molly, time to get to work Son, time to rise and shine. Aren't you two starving after all that sleep?"

With Officer Chad's persistence, little Wayne finally woke up, stretching his tiny

fists and smiling at his dad, his face all happiness.

Ten minutes later, the Cedillo household was a whirlwind of activity.

On the way to drop Molly off at work, she suddenly remembered, "Chad, Donnie and Stephania's wedding is soon I need to help Stephania this weekend."

"Got it," Chad nodded.

"I'm meeting Stephania at eight in the morning."

Chad thought to himself, which meant he had an early morning wake-up call to handle.

At the office, Molly, with Wayne in her arms, sprinted upstairs and clocked in right on time.

Every morning, Wayne zipped from the bedroom to the car and then from the car to his mom's office like a little whirlwind.

Because of this, he couldn't have his morning milk, or he'd surely end up feeling queasy.
