The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 876

Completing the mission? Siren touched her swollen face in tears.

The mission had gone south, and her life was at Matthew's mercy. She had utterly failed the mission, but she didn't dare to tell Anisha.

Before Siren even started talking, she broke down in tears.

Frowning, Anisha had a bad feeling about it. "Why did you cry? Did you get the job done?"

Siren sobbed and replied, "Matthew's an animal. H-He drank the aphrodisiac I prepared for him, and then he just attacked me like a wild beast, venting out his urges.

"I didn't have the chance to fight back. After he was done, he tossed me a hundred grand and walked off. He really treated me like some kind of prostitute."

Anisha was left speechless. She assumed Matthew was already dead and couldn't believe this had happened.

The best assassin she had was just played for a fool without achieving anything.

Anisha couldn't help but snap, "You're pathetic! Weren't you trained for this? Don't you have a backup plan for this kind of situation? You're supposed to be a professional assassin, not a defenseless woman."

Siren was a little scared, but there was no turning back at this point. She had to carry on with the act. "I didn't see it coming. He got on top of me right away and grabbed my neck. I couldn't move an inch. Just like that, I was forced to lie down for half an hour as his plaything. After it was over, he just stood up and left. I had a dozen ways to kill him, but I didn't get the chance to make a move."

Was Siren restrained by the neck?

Anisha could sort of imagine the scene because she had watched various kinds of adult films.

After Connor died, she enjoyed watching adult films. Eventually, it became a habit.

Anisha had seen this kind of thing in adult films. Siren was just unlucky, running into a man who didn't do any kind of foreplay. He didn't even take his time to smoke afterward.

After a pause, Anisha asked, "You've failed your mission. What are you going to do to fix this?"

Siren had been waiting for that line. "Matthew complimented my figure, and he'll come to me again. I still have another shot."

Anisha furrowed her brows together. "When do you think he'll come back to you next time?"

She couldn't wait for Matthew to die. She didn't want him to live another day, even another hour. If it took too long, she'd have to get someone else to handle it.

Siren was hesitant to state a specific time, so she vaguely replied, "Matthew is strong, healthy, and young. There's no way he can wait for another week. I bet he'll come looking for me in about two days."

When Anisha heard it'd only take about two days, she figured she could wait. "Fine. I'll give you another chance. But next time, I don't want to hear any excuses."

Siren knew she managed to get through this one. After hanging up, she lay back down, feeling completely drained.

What now? What should be her next move?

Siren had never run into a situation like this, especially one that jeopardized her

life.noveldrama

She ran her hand over her head, but

she didn't feel anything. Still, she understood things were different

now. With the acupuncture technique, she only had a hundred days left to live.

It felt like something was weighing her down on her shoulder, making it hard for

her to breathe. A wave of fear washed over, leaving her unsettled.

Meanwhile, a thought came into her mind. How was traditional medicine so amazing? How did an acupuncture technique shorten her lifespan to less than a hundred days?

At this point, Siren started to understand why the other Eastorians were fighting over the medical books. Traditional medicine was simply mind-blowing.

Then, another thought popped into her head. What kind of person was Matthew? Was he still a man?
