The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 875

Siren continued counting down, "Six, five, four, three, two, one..."

She counted to one, but nothing happened to her hand.

Just as she was about to say something, her hand started twitching on its own. She fought to control it, but it felt like her hand wasn't even hers. She couldn't make it stop at all.

"How is this happening? What's going on? Is my hand stuck like this?"noveldrama

Matthew pulled out the silver needles again and quickly pricked a few needles into Siren's hand. The twitching hand suddenly went still.

Siren watched the scene unfold, her eyes filled with surprise.

How was this possible? The silver needles only poked her hand a few times, and now, everything was fine again. That was unbelievable.

At that moment, the pain and danger were out of her mind. Her head was just spinning with questions. The silver needles were too incredible.

Matthew slowly pulled out the silver needles and casually said, "You can't possibly fathom how amazing traditional medicine is, which is why your people go to great lengths to steal our medical books. I've used the Shadowtorn Technique on you, and it's something you can't even begin to comprehend.

"What you need to know is that you only have a hundred days left to live. Come to me again before the hundred days are up and I'll break the affliction. But if you exceed that timeline, you're as good as dead."

Siren was completely thrown for a loop, her mind racing with all sorts of thoughts.

She couldn't bring herself to doubt it, given how incredible the earlier display was. But even though it seemed real, it still felt way too bizarre.

The toughest part to swallow was that she only had a hundred days left to live.

Matthew added, "If you want to stay alive, find me the leader and member list of Springflower within a hundred days, and then I'll spare you. If not, by the 100th day, just dig a hole and lie down to wait for death."

After Matthew spoke, he turned and walked out. It was his first time using the Shadowtorn Technique, so he wasn't sure if it was really that effective.

But he understood the principle behind the Shadowtorn Technique. It damaged the acupoints and clogged them up. Over time, it caused organ problems in certain areas.

But he had no clue how long it would take for health problems to show up or what kind of issues they'd be.

Still, Matthew knew for sure that

people were afraid of death. Siren wouldn't gamble her life over something she couldn't understand. So, he was certain she'd come to find him before the deadline.

Sitting down, Siren covered her face and watched Matthew leave with a blank expression.

He actually let her go so easily, as if he was confident about the Shadowtorn Technique.

Realizing she only had a hundred days left, Siren suddenly felt a sense of urgency.

What should she do? Was she really going to help Matthew get Springflower's member list?

The longer Siren thought about it, the more afraid she became. She leaned back, lying on the seating area with a thud. Staring at the ceiling, she was lost in thought.

After some time, Siren took out her phone and texted her leader, "Hello."

Inside the bathroom of a private accommodation, Anisha stood in front of the mirror in her pajamas. When her phone went off, she picked it up and saw the message from Siren.

Feeling surprised, she called and said, "That was quick! Well done. You're free to

head back to Eastoria now. Here's your reward."
