"I have no choice but to let you suffer a little bit. I hope you can understand, Mr. Horne," Nino said.

Tom was infuriated, of course What was he supposed to understand? Running naked to his office? Was it some kind of sick joke? If he did it, it would certainly make the headline news in Goldspire. How was he supposed to show his face in public ever again?

"Hah! I guess there's nothing more to be said. Sorry about this. Men, undress him."

"Yes, boss!"

A few burly men subdued Tom and ripped his clothes off.

Tom screamed and struggled, to no avail.

"I'm going to kill you, Nino!" Tom cried out, his eyes bulging out in anger. Alas, this wasn't the worst of it. What came next was the real nightmare, for he saw a massive wolfdog with saliva dripping from its gnashing teeth. Its eyes were ferocious, too.

Chuckling, Nino said, "I've raised him for many years now, Mr. Horne. He loves eating raw flesh the most, so you'd better run as fast as you can. Otherwise, I won't be responsible if he bites off anything."

The wolfdog started barking, and with a loud, fearful cry, Tom fled at once, too scared to care about anything. Laughing, Nino handed the wolfdog over to his subordinate and said, "Go on. Escort Mr. Horne back to his office." At last, the room was silent again.

However, Nino was still uneasy. He and Leopold were mortal enemies. Would Leopold ask Gideon to come after him?

It was all that damn Tom's fault! If not for Tom, he wouldn't have offended Gideon. All he could do was try to make up for it now.

"Someone, find out which hospital Arnold Seymour is in and send over a significant gift as a token of my apologies."

Out on the streets, Tom was running naked. The wolfdog was keeping pace behind him, making him too scared to stop for even a second.

The path that led from Monarchy Club to Tom's office at Horne Tower went right through the busiest part of the city center. With so many people passing by, Tom caught a lot of attention and stirred up quite a storm.

The sounds of laughter, rebukes, and chatter echoed hauntingly in Tom's ears. As he wiped his sweat away, he felt so mortified that he even wished to die.

Inwardly, he cursed at Gideon and Nino, swearing to kill them and rip their bodies to pieces before feeding them to the dogs to appease his resentment.

His ordeal came to an end when he arrived at Horne Tower, but the incident was already bubbling among the upper circle.

Horne Enterprise was worth a billion dollars. In a major city like Goldspire, this didn't make his company one of

the top ones around, but it certainly wasn't a small business, either. At the very least, it did receive some recognition.

“Has Tom Horne lost his mind? Why was he running around naked? Is it some kind of fetish?"

"It's unbelievable!"

"It's disgusting! Imagine seeing a naked man running around on the streets!" "He's the most repulsive man I've ever met!"-

Everyone in the upper circle made criticisms and derisive comments. And once Tom got to his office and put his clothes on, he immediately checked what the people were saying.

Once he saw the comments, he had another breakdown. He was so angered and agitated that he even spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Mr. Horne!"

Tom's secretary turned pale with fear.

With a twisted expression, Tom growled, "Get in touch with Reaper. Tell him to drop everything and come back at once! I don't care where he is!"
