Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1259

Teddy, still looking sharp, single, and without a limp, had good looks, a fit physique, and plenty of talent. Before Hansen could even say a word, Teddy stepped up and confidently said, "Hansen, my standards are crystal clear. They need to be good-looking, a whiz in the kitchen, have legs at least five foot seven, hold dual doctorates, boast an IQ over 180, and rake in over a hundred million a year. Only then will I even consider it."

Hansen, taken aback: "...Teddy, okay, I won't rush you anymore, alright?"

Teddy nodded, "Thanks, Hansen."

Everyone else looked on with admiration and respect.

Mars threw an arm around Teddy's shoulder, "You heartbreaker, no wonder Andre pegged you as our secret weapon."noveldrama

Teddy turned, "What did you just call me?"

Later on, Mars genuinely did walk with a bit of a limp.

Henry's imitation skills became even more spot-on.

After the guests had left, it was just the family of three lounging in the living room.

Henry's unusual way of walking caught his parents' attention, "Honey, is there something up with his leg?"

Andre frowned and quickly asked the servants, "Did the young master get hurt today?"

The servants anxiously shook their heads, "Henry didn't bump into anything." Their eyes had been glued to the little ones all day, not daring to look away for even a second to ensure they didn't get hurt.

After a few minutes of watching, Andre, without hesitation, scooped up his son, "Let's go to the hospital."

"Wait," Mia, always observant, stopped him.

She asked her husband, "Honey, doesn't our son's walk look a bit familiar?"

Andre sighed, "...It's Mars again!"

On his birthday, Henry got a gentle nudge from his dad, and amidst tears and giggles, he began walking normally again.

That night, after Mia had tucked their precious son into bed and returned to their bedroom, her eyes fell on a large bouquet of roses on the bed.

Mia was puzzled by the extra bouquet of flowers.

As she approached and picked up the vibrant roses, before she could ask, her husband wrapped his arms around her from behind.

"Sweetheart?" Mia asked, curious about the gesture.

Turning to face her husband, their eyes locked, and Andre's gaze, usually filled with playful affection, was serious this time as he looked at the love of his life. "Mia, I love you."

Mia smiled, playfully teasing, "I love you too. But what's with the flowers?"

Andre's eyes were intense, "Because two years ago today, you were at death's door for me."

Mia's eyes grew warm, and she tried not to blink, fearing the tears that might fall. "Why bring that up on such a lovely day?"

Everyone was celebrating, wishing Henry a happy second birthday.

Andre, however, couldn't help but glance at his wife often.

She was always busy, entertaining guests, guiding the help, checking in with the butler about dinner, and keeping an eye on their son...

Today, he overheard his father casually scolding his sister, "Molly's a mom now and still can't settle down. Look at Mia, she's so good with Henry."

Even though it was praise for Mia, something in Andre's heart felt heavy. He didn't know how to give his wife all the happiness in the world.

Mia smiled, "I'm not upset, love. I cherish every stage of my life, every role I play, daughter, wife, mother. Happiness isn't measured or compared. As long as I feel happy, that's enough. And the one who gives me this happiness is you."

Mia stood on tiptoe, leaning in to kiss her husband.

Even with all her flaws, Molly was loved; Leo, with his sharp tongue that often got him in trouble, was also loved; and Henry, despite his antics, his spot as the family's beloved was unshakeable!
