Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1140

Mia glanced over at her husband, Andre, who looked like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. "I really don't have time for this," he

muttered.

"But it's from the Collins family head himself..."

Just then, a servant from the Cedillo family showed up at their door. "Mr. Butler, no matter where you're from, please don't disturb our master and madam while they're resting. Kindly leave."

Once the door closed, everything went silent.

Curious, Mia turned to Andre, "Babe, that name rings a bell. Who are they? Are the Four Great Families really that big a deal? If you've got obligations, don't worry about us. You should go, business comes first."noveldrama

Andre gave her nose a playful tweak. "I took this time off just to be with you. You're my main priority."

Mia blushed and snuggled into his arms. "Getting all romantic out of nowhere, you're making me blush."

Andre chuckled, wrapping her in a warm embrace, "Maybe I should say it more often. How about 'I love you'?"

"Hey, let's make a deal," Mia suggested, her eyes sparkling with a sudden idea. Andre raised an eyebrow with a smile, "What kind of deal?"

"Every time one of us says 'I love you,' the other has to say 'I love you too.' If you don't reply, it means you don't love me. No excuses, okay, honey?"

Andre felt this might not be the best idea, but he knew if he turned her down, his Mia would probably tease him with, "Oh, you don't love me anymore."

Before he could respond, Mia stood on her tiptoes and kissed him sweetly. "Come on, honey, how about it? I love you, and I want some romance."

Reluctantly but with a smile, Andre stepped right into the little trap she'd set, "Alright. I love you too."

They stood by the big window, wrapped in each other's arms, sharing a tender kiss.

But just as they were lost in their moment, Mia suddenly pulled away, leaving Andre a bit bewildered.

"Oh no!" Mia exclaimed, "It's been way too quiet."

Andre quickly snapped to attention. A quiet kid usually meant trouble So, with a bit of urgency, he called out, "Henry! Henry? Where've you crawled off to this time? Come out here."

Eventually, they found their little boy in the living room, clutching a wine decanter. Red wine was splashed everywhere, including all over Henry's face and clothes.

Their jaws dropped.

Their little one, barely over a year old, had gotten into the wine!

Maybe a bit tipsy, Henry wobbled and fell back onto the floor mat, the decanter rolling away.

They rushed over, scooping up their little troublemaker. Mia gently sniffed at his tiny mouth, "Honey, call the doctor right away. Is it okay for a toddler to have drunk red wine?"

The hotel, aware they were hosting VIP guests, had everything prepared, including a decanted red wine on the low coffee table in the living room. Neither parent had noticed it there, but their sharp-eyed little Henry did.

While they were distracted, Henry had made a beeline for the special bottle. With his parents none the wiser, he hoisted himself up, reached for the bottle, and brought it down with him.

Then he tipped it back and took a swig.

Henry coughed hard.

With the presidential suite being so spacious, the living room, bathroom, and bedroom were quite spread out, so his parents hadn't heard a thing.
