Chapter 1041
Leo had been hanging out in Willowtown for a few days. Even though he hadn't been flaunting his success, Anya's excitement had mellowed a bit, and she started introducing her boyfriend to her school friends, always bragging about how awesome he was. One day, while caught up in her bragging spree, Anya headed back to the hotel. It was clear she had something on her mind but was too shy to say it, awkwardly perching at the end of the bed.
Leo closed his book, turned to the unusually quiet Anya, and asked, "What's going on?"
"Chad, there's a school reunion, and I was telling my classmates how amazing you are with computers, and then, well, one of my classmates' computer just, you know..."
"Broke, and now they want me to fix it, am I right?" Leo guessed.
Anya pouted, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry, Chad. I didn't agree to it. I promise I'll stop bragging."
Anya adored Leo so much that she couldn't help but gush about his skills to others. But when someone actually asked for his help, she turned them down, worried they'd think she was just making stuff up. Saying yes would mean burdening Chad with trivial tasks. Leo chuckled, "No wonder my aunt said you're still a bit childish."
"Your aunt talked about me?" Anya looked up, surprised. "She wouldn't say that! She really likes me."
"My aunt, not yours, silly. She meant your mom."
Anya: "..."
Leaning back, Leo flashed a mischievous grin. "I can fix it, it's not like I can't."
Anya's eyes lit up instantly.
"About the 'payment'," Leo's eyes lingered on Anya's soft lips.noveldrama
Anya blinked, "I have money, loads of it. Chad, I can give you whatever you want. If it's not enough, I'll ask my dad!" Leo laughed, "Do I look like I'm in it for the money?"
Anya was puzzled. What else could
she offer besides money? Then, catching his intense gaze, she realized she hadn't really spent. quality time with him. They hadn't had a moment to themselves since her parents called.
Leo tapped his leg, "I think you know what I mean, come sit here."
Anya, blushing and a bit shy, approached Leo cautiously. She was worried about being too heavy.
As she hesitated, Leo gently pulled her onto his lap. Anya instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, tiptoeing to ease her weight. Chad, I'm heavy."
"Let me feel just how heavy you are." Leo looked into her eyes, swallowed hard, and leaned in to kiss her. Finally, he had the chance to enjoy her sweetness.
With one arm around Anya's waist and the other supporting her, Leo pulled her in closer, fully embracing her. Anya tiptoed, worried about her weight, but Leo just wanted to hold her tight and kiss her passionately.
Later that afternoon, Anya took Leo to the meetup. As they stepped out of the car, Leo glanced at the clubhouse, then back at Anya with a smile.
