No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Xenia screamed, "Noelle, have you gone mad?"

Tears and snot were streaming down her face while she trembled. She had been on the brink of death just now. Noelle really let go! That bitch really wanted her

dead!

Noelle smirked and said, "Initially, I only wanted to live out my life in peace, but you kept following me around. I'll play your game this time!"

"What are you trying to do?"

Xenia was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Noelle was a madwoman.

Noelle turned around and grabbed a bottle of water, pouring it onto Xenia. "I want to toy with you till you die!"

Xenia coughed and pleaded, "Noelle, I've seen the error of my ways. I'll never do that again. That day in the club, I was forced into doing that by Samantha. You know how she is. I didn't dare to disobey her."

Xenia was scared out of her wits. She'd be dead if Noelle pushed her hand off.

Suddenly, Noelle found Xenia's begging a little boring. How could she have been sent to her death by a hypocritical dumbass like this?

Was it Noelle's fault for not being as good an actor as Xenia who switched personalities to kiss up to different people?

Noelle stood on Xenia's hand and said, "I can pull you up if you do something for me."noveldrama

"I can do whatever it is you ask of me! Please don't kill me!"

"You know Donovan invested heavily in the Al project for Frank's company, right?"

Xenia nodded hurriedly and replied, "Yes, I'm aware of that."

"I want you to steal the data that Donovan has to run his Al models."

Noelle ground on Xenia's hand with her foot. "I promise you I'll do it. Donovan

never keeps his guard up around me!" Xenia quickly said.

Noelle lifted her foot.

Xenia sighed in relief and extended a hand toward Noelle. "Pull me up. I can't get back up myself."

Noelle eyed her hand in disdain and handed Xenia the bottle.

Xenia climbed up and sat on the ground, stunned by her near-death experience. Then, she looked up and yelled, "Did you think I'd obey your whims? In your dreams!"

She had only agreed to Noelle's conditions to survive. The more Xenia thought about it, the more livid she felt. She stood up and pounced at Noelle. "How dare you humiliate me like this? I won't let this slide, Noelle!"

Noelle grabbed her hair and pressed her onto the ground before slapping Xenia twice. Xenia's head spun.

Grabbing her chin, Noelle said, "I knew you would go back on your word! Didn't I tell you I had evidence?"

"I don't believe you. There's no way you'd have it!"

"And yet you still came. It shows that you're scared."

Noelle pulled her phone out and showed her a screenshot of surveillance footage.

It depicted Xenia with the spray in her hands, drugging Noelle.

When Xenia saw the picture, her blood ran cold. She hadn't expected Noelle to really have the evidence!

Xenia stuttered, "W-why didn't you pass this to Frank straight away? Instead, you a-asked me to meet you here. What are you trying to achieve?"

"What I want has changed. Steal the data from Donovan. I want Maple Enterprise to win!"

Noelle glared at her and asked, "I'm giving you a choice now. Are you going to do as I say, or should I send this out immediately?"

"Don't do that, I'm begging you. I'll do as you say!"

Xenia was scared of this lunatic! She could only agree to do it.

Noelle stood up slowly and said, "I'll be waiting for the data."

She left the balcony without looking back.

Noelle smirked and deleted the picture in her phone. It was photoshopped.

However, guilty people like Xenia couldn't run the risk of it!

She was looking forward to what Xenia would do. Donovan's face when he found

out was also an exciting prospect.

Noelle wanted revenge, but she also wanted to advance her career.
