MAFIA LOVE SCANDAL

Don’t go

Throughout the journey, Anne can’t stop smiling. She’s truly enjoying how Kaivan is taking her around while continuously chatting. She’s not paying attention to the specifics of what he’s saying. Through their conversation, Anne eventually learns about Kaivan’s childhood and how he managed to become successful and befriend so many mafias.

“That means you were quite naughty, Kai,” Anne remarks after hearing Kaivan’s story about how he was involved in fights with Kenzi, his own younger brother, multiple times.

“Kenzi used to despise me. He was furious because I once pushed Alma, his wife, and she fell into the river. And his wife even ended up in the hospital and lost her memory because I accidentally pushed her.”

“By God, if I were Kenzi, I might have hated you forever,” Anne says with a laugh.

“Yeah, I can understand that. That’s why I chose to live with Grandma. Kenzi only forgave me after more than a decade of not talking to each other.”

Behind Kaivan, Anne nods and adds, “It’s a relief that you two have reconciled now. Because no matter where you are, family comes first.”

“You’re absolutely right.”

Just after finishing his story, the motorcycle that Kaivan is riding stops at one of the most famous tourist spots in London. It’s the Big Ben Clock Tower that’s their first destination. Although living in London, Kaivan admits he has visited this historic place only a few times.

Big Ben itself is the second-largest clock tower in the world, after the Royal Clock Tower in Mecca. This clock almost never stops throughout history. Even when a bomb destroyed the Commons Chamber during World War II, Big Ben kept ticking.

“Just so you know, I’m glad you brought me here,” Anne exclaims with sparkling eyes. “This clock often appears in my favorite movies.”

“Oh, really?” Kaivan glances briefly, continuing to walk towards the tower’s entrance. “Which movies?”Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Fast and Furious and James Bond. But speaking of James Bond, I used to think you were a reflection of Pierce Brosnan’s character. You look alike. Especially when you’re in scenes with weapons.”

“But it seems I’m even more impressive than the actors you mentioned,” Kaivan says proudly. “They’re just acting. While I have to deal with real-world situations involving mafias.”

“Yeah… Yeah… Yeah,” Anne mocks with a playful tone. “You’re indeed more impressive than any guys I’ve known.”

“Of course, that’s why only strong women like you deserve to accompany me.”

Anne suddenly looks at him. Kaivan’s words certainly make her feel a bit flattered. How come he’s so good at complimenting now?

“You smooth talker!”

After touring the Big Ben Clock Tower, Kaivan revs up his motorcycle again to go to another place. This time, he takes Anne to briefly visit one of the city parks. Enjoying the passing vehicles, Kaivan shares more stories with his wife.

Having relaxed in the park, Kaivan then takes Anne to another location. Until they arrive at their last stop, they visit one of the most iconic places in England: the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel.

This attraction consists of giant capsules, often referred to as a giant ferris wheel, that rotate gracefully. It’s located on the South Bank, precisely on the banks of the River Thames, facing the Palace of Westminster and the Big Ben on the opposite side.

By riding the London Eye, they would be treated to a view of London from a height. Anne is very excited about it, especially since it’s her first time riding this giant capsule.

“Is this safe?” she asks, making sure before stepping into the windmill-like capsule.

“Don’t worry.” Kaivan tries to reassure her. “It’s very safe. Besides, I’m here to watch over you at all times.”

Summoning her courage, Anne follows Kaivan’s lead to get inside. As the giant wheel begins to turn, Anne immediately grabs Kaivan’s wrist, squeezing it tightly to alleviate her nervousness.

“It’s okay,” Kaivan says. “From up here, you can see the entire city of London from above.”

Slowly, Anne approaches the glass. She gazes at the vast spread of buildings below. Seeing how the architectural objects appear so small from up there.

“Are you enjoying this?” Kaivan asks. He comes closer and wraps his arms around Anne from behind.

“Very much,” she answers, still focused on the city landscape in front of her. “Kai… thank you for all the kindness you’ve shown me.”

Still hugging her, Kaivan brings his head close to Anne’s cheek and whispers softly.

“I should be the one thanking you for coming into my life and turning it upside down. If you hadn’t found me, I might have never known a woman like you exists.”

Anne immediately turns around, facing Kaivan, and then stands on her tiptoes to align their heights. Slowly and without hesitation, she kisses Kaivan’s lips. Afterward, she tightly embraces him as if not wanting to let go.

“I hope we can stay like this forever. You don’t intend to divorce me, do you?”

“Huh? Divorce you?” Kaivan’s eyebrows raise high. “Of course not,” he says confidently. “It would be such a loss if I divorced you. I even want to have many children with an Anna Maria Judith Esstele.”

With this statement, Kaivan manages to startle Anne. How could this handsome man think so far ahead about having children with her?

“You want to have children with me?”

Kaivan immediately nods. “Of course. Who wouldn’t want to have offspring with a beautiful woman like you? But speaking of which, are you willing? Willing to have children with me?”

Anne blinks. She’s lost for words, too surprised to face the reality that Kaivan truly wants to fully have her.

“I do. Yes, I want to have many children with you. Maybe four or Five?”

Happy to hear Anne’s response, Kaivan embraces her again, bringing her into his embrace.

“I pray that God will soon grant us what we’ve just dreamed of. And I hope that God will never separate us. Amen”
