Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1607

The competition rules say that the top ten contestants will snag some cash prizes, even though the amounts differ. Still, these top designers have a shot at catching the eye of some major companies, setting them up for a bright future.

Later that evening, after Yvenne and the others got back, Fiona, wrapped in a cozy robe, started doodling at the table. She did it on purpose, knowing Yvenne would see her. And sure enough, she caught a glimpse of Yvenne's anxious look from the corner of her eye. Pretty soon, Yvenne was also sketching, clearly copying Fiona's work.

Fiona slyly tucked her sketches under her pillow, avoiding opening the box in front of Yvenne, making her think she hadn't noticed the missing artwork.noveldrama

Meanwhile, Nash's mom pulled some strings to track down the contestant. With the Woods family's clout, finding someone who entered the competition under a fake name was a breeze. Plus, Nash's mom had a soft spot for these unique design sketches-they really made her heart sing.

At The Cherry Blossom Café, Nash's mom was waiting eagerly, itching to meet this designer. Fiona had mentioned the sketches came from a friend, so she assumed they must know each other.

After more than thirty minutes, Yvenne finally showed up, and Nash's mom was just about out of patience. If it weren't for wanting to meet this design whiz, she wouldn't have bothered.

Because of her ties to Fiona, she felt she had to at least be polite.

Yvenne gave the woman a once-over as she sat down. She didn't want to be caught dead in a place like this; it was beneath her status. If she hadn't basically been dragged here, she wouldn't have come at all.

The woman's outfit didn't scream money, and her clothes were from some no- name brand.

"What do you want?" Yvenne asked, her voice icy and impatient. "My time's valuable, so let's cut to the chase."

Nash's mom frowned. If she didn't know Fiona's character well, she wouldn't put up with this attitude.

"Not a fan of this place, huh?" she

said coolly, her eyes cutting through the air. "That coffee you're drinking? It's five hundred bucks."

Yvenne nearly choked on her drink staring at the tiny cup of creamy coffee in disbelief. Five hundred dollars for this? Might as welbrob a bank!

"Is that design you entered in the competition really yours?"

That question almost broke Yvenne's cool exterior.

"What are you getting at?" Yvenne scowled, pretending to be unfazed as she sipped her coffee. "If it's not mine, is it yours?"

Nash's mom didn't say anything more, but she had her suspicions. Knowing Fiona, she wouldn't hang out with someone so full of

themselves. The entry for the

Yvenne's original work.

"Got any other jaw-dropping designs? I'd be willing to buy them."

As soon as she said it, Yvenne let out a sarcastic laugh and sneered, "You? Think you've got the cash to handle that?"
