Chapter 2363
Chapter 2363
The boss chuckled, "It's leased. I pay for it, just like it's my own place."
Jonathan turned to Estelle, "Manley Scott got you a dessert shop. How about I get you a coffee shop?"
"Leather Jacket" let out a mocking snicker.
Estelle faced Jonathan, "No need to give me anything. This place is already mine."
With that, she pulled out her phone and quickly made a call. The call was answered promptly.
In a calm voice, Estelle asked, "Leif, is the property on Howtown D Street, the one my grandpa left, mine?"
The person on the other end immediately replied, "Yes, it's yours, Miss."
"Good, there's a coffee shop here called Cloud Cafe. Terminate the lease with the owner right now, today, and make sure he gets the penalty fee," Estelle's tone turned colder as she glanced at the now pale-faced owner, "Tell him to clear out today!"
Without asking any further questions, the person on the phone respectfully responded, "Right away, Miss!"
Estelle hung up, and silence enveloped the surroundings.
The shop owner, his gaze flickering, unsure if Estelle truly owned the property or was bluffing, ventured, "Miss, may I know your last name?" Estelle ignored him.
Soon, the shop owner's phone rang, making his heart skip a beat.
Answering the call, the person on the line spoke irritably, "What did you do to upset Miss Jarvis? The manager just called me, said the lease is up, and you need to shut down immediately!"
"Director!" The shop owner panicked. His shop, secured through connections and located in a prime spot, made tens of thousands a year.
"It's a misunderstanding, a total misunderstanding!" the shop owner's voice cracked, "I didn't realize she was really—"
"Enough, no more excuses. Start closing up and proceed with the formalities. I'm sending someone over for the handover," the person on the line cut him off and hung up.
Dumbfounded, the shop owner turned to Estelle, fearfully asking, "You're Ms. Jarvis?"
Estelle replied, "The Jarvis family doesn't lease to dishonest businessmen."Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Suddenly, a cheer erupted from the onlookers, some even clapping. What was a tense atmosphere turned into one of immense satisfaction. Think you're something because you have money?
There's always someone richer in this world!
The shop owner was almost on his knees, "Ms. Jarvis, my family of five moved to this town for this shop. What are we supposed to do if you take it back?"
Jonathan stood up, reaching for Estelle's hand, "The shop's closing down. Let's go."
He knew Estelle detested being pleaded with.
"Ms. Jarvis, please wait! I was
wrong, truly wrong. I swear it won't
happen again. Can I kneel? Would t
that make it right?" the owner

pleaded as he followed, but Estelle didn't look back and walked away.
Regretful and furious at himself, the owner turned just in time to see "Leather Jacket" attempting to slip away, remembering this whole mess started because of him. He lunged at him, and without a word, started throwing punches.
"It's all because of your damn pride! Thinking you're all that!"
"My shop's gone, and I'll make sure you pay for it!"
"Leather Jacket" struggled hard, "How is it my fault your shop's gone?"
The more the owner thought about it, the angrier he got. He called over his staff, and together they jumped "Leather Jacket," whose girlfriend tried to intervene and ended up taking a couple of slaps herself.
The crowd didn't disperse, instead, they stayed back, egging on the fight, turning it into a spectacle.
Estelle and Jonathan had walked far from the coffee shop by then, yet they could see a crowd still pouring into the place, all flocking to witness the brawl.
