"David, baby, wake up now. We're here." I said as I gently tapped him. He slowly opened and rubbed his eyes.

"We are here? "he asked innocently. I nodded to confirm. He excitedly looked out the window. I smiled because he seemed so innocent. "Daddy Uncle, look! Are we staying there?!" He pointed at the hotel, and Diego pretended to look at the building.

"You're right! Are you excited?" He asked him while we were starting to get down.

"Yes, Daddy! But my tummy is hungry," he said while holding his tummy. He hasn't eaten because he slept. I also take a nap for minutes.

I was happy to hear that Diego is treating David like his own son. But a part of me is also scared. I know that he confessed to me that he likes me and that he's willing to wait until I'm ready. I'm scared that I can't give him a chance. My son already loved Diego, and I know how comfortable they are with each other.

"Don't worry; we will eat immediately as soon as we get there," Diego said while we were inside the car. My son nodded to him.

When we arrived in front, the hotel crew helped us with our luggage and put it in our room.

"What do you want to eat?" Diego asked him while showing him the menu. He even placed his pointed finger on his chin, like he really knew the kind of food here. I laughed, seeing them both choosing what to order.

"Can you please order for us? I really have no idea what kind of food they have," David said in a cute little voice. I chuckled.

"Sure, sir," Diego said in a joking voice.

Diego was the one who ordered food for us. He also makes sure that David eats vegetables.

He's always after our health. When we are at home, he's also the one cooking food for us, and sometimes David wants to learn from him how to cook, and they will stay in the kitchen for many hours.

After they are done cooking, they will make me taste their dishes and give an honest review. Diego is a great cook, so it's no wonder he loves to cook.

Actually, he also won one of the best awards in cooking. But years have passed.

But since his family owned a business that was not connected to cooking, he had to give up that dream of his and chose to be the heir of their company since my best friend Diane couldn't do hard work because of her condition that day. Sometimes, when we don't have work to do, we always visit her. I will never forget Die; she's one of the reasons why I have this kind of life right now.

"Here, taste this one. I know you haven't eaten this kid, but I'm telling you. You will like it," Diego said while placing the food on my plate. I looked at David, and he was already eating.

"Thank you," I said in a lower voice. I started to taste it, and he was right. It's delicious.

"How is it?" He asked me. I smiled at him while nodding. I can't talk because I'm still chewing, which

made him laugh. He also et

me a

glass of water.

After we are done eating. We went to see our room. There are two bedrooms and one is for Diego and the other one is for David and I.

While David and Diego were playing

in the living room, I started to fix our things. We didn't bring too much clothes because we still don't know how many days we will stay here.

en

Diego received a call that he must be back by next week. But that is only a tentative date.

After I was done, we decided to tour David in the meantime.

"Mommy, can I swim in the pool?" David said. Actually, that's really the first thing he wanted to do when we arrived here.

I looked at Diego and he nodded at me.

"Fine, but Your Daddy and Uncle will look after you, okay? I'm just going to sit there and watch the two of you," I said, and he smiled at me.

They went back to the hotel to change clothes, and I stayed in the cottage.

When they got back, they were wearing swimsuits, and I wanted to laugh because Diego and David were wearing sunglasses.

Everyone here is looking at both of them. Diego is topless, and you can really see his well-built body.

I could even feel how the girls looked at him, but it seemed he didn't notice them. He helps me swim since my son is still practising.

They were laughing when a little girl went closer to him.

"Hey handsome, what's your name?" The little girl asked, and that made me giggle. It looks like they are the same age.

David just looked at her and didn't answer her. Diego notices it and talks to David.

I didn't hear the words he whispered, but I think he was trying to convince my son to be kind to others.

"David," he said simply and started to swim again. The little girl followed him, but I know David kept on avoiding her.

I saw Diego chuckle while looking at the two kids having conversations. David is just nodding to what the girl said; if not, he's simply shaking his head.

"Can we go back to the hotel now?" I saw my son's face reddened. I don't know if it was because of the sun or because she talked to the little girl.

I even caught her looking at David.

"You're tired, ready? We haven't swam for how many minutes," Diego said, but David just made a frowning face, which meant that she wanted to get inside.

We ended up going back to the

hotel, and David insisted on sleeping

instead of going back outside.

couldn't stop thinking about how my son acted to that girl. He's like his father before.
