Chapter 613 Sonia Must Die!
Tonia was slapped. But she had to take this and hold back all her emotions, apologizing, "Sorry, Boss, I exceeded the limits."
Maria sneered. With a still arrogant attitude, she blew on her sore hand, "You should know your place. Don't think you're really close to me. You are nothing to me."
Tonia blushed miserably, "Boss, please don't get angry. It's all my fault. I talked too much"noveldrama
"Good." Maria said through gritted teeth, word for word, "Your face, which resembles Sonia's, is my last tool of revenge. You don't have a choice!"
Tonia stood there with her face down. Probably because she thought Maria would be angry if Maria saw her face. So, she deliberately lowered her head to keep Maria out of sight.
Maria was satisfied with Tonia's awareness. "From now on, don't act so much like that bitch in front of me.
I asked you to imitate her. But it's not for me. It's for Dixon. Understand?"
Tonia's eyelashes fluttered, "Yes."
"Well, there's a launch party in a few days. Dixon will be there." Maria clenched his fingers into her palms, which showed her hatred, "I want you to go there. And you know what you should do when you meet Dixon. Right?"
Tonia took a few steps back. Holding back a myriad of fear and pain, she finally whispered one word, "Okay."
'Okay. Whatever you ask.' Tonia thought.
Maria ignored Tonia's torment, feeling that treating Tonia like this was like abusing Sonia. Because Tonia looked so similar to Sonia. So, Maria felt so real when she bullied Tonia. It made her feel like she was really getting revenge.
She thought to herself, 'Sonia, one day, you will have to cry and beg me like this!'
Finally, Maria said lightly, "Take the order and get lost. I don't want to see your disgusting face right now." Tonia clenched her fist and answered, "Sure, Boss. I'm going away."
Maria didn't expect her to be so submissive and gave her one more look, scoffing, "Why are you acting like an obedient slave?"
Tonia failed to hide the pain of being mocked by Maria anymore. Her suffering expression and humble attitude made Maria feel quite pleasant. "But I like your attitude. You know, if you were born in ancient times, you might be a loyal foot-washing maid, hahaha."
Maria was laughing. But actually, she was totally insane. "Hahahaha, I am the most honorable woman in the whole world! You, or Sonia, anyone of you will die by my hand! Bro. Dixon is my last quest, no one can take him away from me, and neither can you!"
She reached out and pointed her hand straight at Tonia, "If I find out that you are wearing this face and deliberately seducing Dixon to take advantage of the situation, I will cut your face with my own hands!" Tonia shivered, "Boss, I will never betray you!"
"Can you resist the temptation of Dixon too?" Maria went over and grabbed Tonia's hair like she was grabbing Elinor's hair. "I'm telling you, don't be hypocritical! When I finish everything, you will be killed too. Because of your face, you don't deserve to be alive. But, if you dare to disfigure yourself, you will die immediately!"
Tonia felt pain from Maria's grip, "Boss, please let go. I won't betray you, I really..."
"Then why are you so loyal to me? Hmm? Did you come on purpose to make me just let my guard down?"
Maria barked, "You're a bitch. You are a bitch just like Sonia! If I didn't think you were still useful, I would have left you to die abroad!"
Tonia shivered, "Boss, please take it easy. I'll leave now. Don't get angry."
Maria sneered before releasing Tonia. Watching her stumble out, she felt that all her bloodthirsty thoughts were vented at this moment. She smiled and looked at her palm. Her thought was on the verge of losing her mind...
"All mine! This whole world is all mine. Sonia has to be killed... No one will steal Dixon from me!"
On the other side... Dixon and Quincy went to Mahkota Medical Center together a few days later.
Dixon stood at the door and smoked a cigarette. After he finished a cigarette, he started coughing. Quincy said, "You take cigarettes before your body recovers? It will hurt your lungs."
"I transplanted a kidney, not a lung." Dixon said, "Let's go, I just want to refresh myself. I hope I can remember a bit of what happened before."
Quincy's eyes went deep. He then
said, "Let's go. I had someone make the arrangement. Someone's been paying the charges on Rebecca's ward. Carney did. I guess you forgot that Carney is still doing executive stuff for you."
Although Carney talked mean, he was a reliable guy on the job. Dixon dropped his cigarette, "Come on, did you bring your equipment?"
"Miniature cameras and radio microphones are available. The monitor is also ready."
Quincy tossed a gadget to Dixon, "Here, you'll be responsible for putting it on her unnoticed."
The two were walking in the corridor, which caused many nurses to glance at them and discuss that there were two handsome men in the hospital, who were like big stars.
They stopped under the hospital's most private inpatient department. They then went into the elevator. When the elevator door slowly closed, someone came out from the dark.
"They did go to the hospital to look for Rebecca." The man whispered.
Another man's voice was cold, "Rebecca hasn't woken up. And it's impossible to wake her up. Maria beat Rebecca directly into a vegetable. Every wound on her is fatal. They go to Rebecca in vain."
"It is also possible that she will wake up."
The man who first spoke flashed back into the crowd with his partner by his side at once. Their movements were very stealthy. "I think Dixon had probably found out something new. And we need to move too."
"Is that so?" The man pondered for a moment, "I remember. Maybe there's someone that can wake Rebecca up."
The two men looked at each other, both seeing their icy faces in the other's eyes.
Dixon was sensitive to the fact that something was wrong when they entered Rebecca's ward.
If Carney came over once a month to pay the regular fee, then he shouldn't have to come over every time
to clean the room. But the room was clean, as if someone had spent some time here with Rebecca.
And it had happened not long before they arrived, or the room would have been dusted again.
Dixon went up and looked at the marks on the windowsill, "It was wiped down not long ago."
"It seems someone has been here
with Rebecca. But you had faked your death then. So, you didn't know about it. Quincy spoke bluntly. Rebecca lay still on the bed. No
matter what she heard or tried to
express, there was only a permanent silence.
What do you think?
