Unwanted Daddy Don't Come Closer to Mommy

Chapter 592 I Can Save Whomever I Like

"I said stop!

you hear me!"

Someone felt that they were being treated unequally. "Since Lenard didn't let them cut in line, you are now taking the four of them away early in front of us, isn't this cutting in line?"

If it weren't for the fact that Dixon, Victor, and Eugene were all in a bit of physical trouble, Jarvis would have rushed forward and smashed that man's mouth.

Babur stopped in his tracks and glanced back with a sneer, "I'm not a doctor in this hospital. And I don't treat you as human beings as Lenard does. There is no fairness. I can save whomever I like. If you want me to save you, you can beg me. Maybe I'll let you get in line if I'm in a good mood!"

The crowd was shaking with anger, "You don't deserve to be a doctor!"

"I'm not. I'll take my friends with me. How about that?" Babur waved his hand, "Let's go!"

Dixon gave Lenard an apologetic look. And Lenard sighed, "Go, I have a lot of people to treat here."

Babur just took Dixon's group away in front of the crowd. But surprisingly, no one came out to stop them. Because that person was Babur. He simply did not have the so-called rules. His work all depended on his mood. If he really didn't want to save someone, he would watch that person die in front of him without raising an eyebrow. He didn't have Lenard's mind that everyone was equal.

People watched in awe as the white-haired man left with Dixon's group, feeling like they had been slapped hard.

When Dixon opened his eyes again, he saw a gorgeous ceiling.

He didn't have to recall. He knew he was in Babur's secret base. He was the only one who would decorate the ward in the same style as the royal family.

Someone pushed in the door. Dixon sat up in the bed. It was Victor.

Victor's voice was still hoarse, presumably from the smoke. He might not be able to recover for a while. "You're awake."

Dixon said to himself, 'Victor was trapped in the fire. But I woke up even later than he did.'

He remembered. He had passed out as soon as he arrived at Babur base with his last breath.

Dixon took a deep breath and felt a particular pain in his lower back. It hurt to press it.noveldrama

"Babur told me about your condition."

Victor frowned, "This kidney of yours has a life expectancy of four years at most."

Dixon smiled palely, "You didn't suffer any other injuries, did you?"

Victor's eyes were red. He shook his head, "No."

Dixon took a deep breath, feeling his breathing with the toss. And after a moment, he slowly lay down, "Good."

"While I was in a coma..." Victor paused, "I felt like I was being picked up by someone... Was it you?" Dixon grinned. Because his face was pale, his smile didn't look like a human's smile. The way he talked had changed to an unruly way. "What do you think?"

"I think it's you. So..." Victor stepped forward, "I came to say thank you, along with my mother's share." Dixon was stunned, "Your mom is here too?"

"Well, Lenard talked to her about me being sent to Babur's base. So, she got here."

Victor looked around, "Babur is the Envy of Seven Deadly Sins, right?"

Dixon raised his eyebrows, "You know Seven Deadly Sins pretty well."

"Because you've told me about Seven Deadly Sins before." Victor looked at Dixon's face and went up to help him pour water, "But you forgot."

"Forgot." Dixon mumbled, "Forgetting is a great way to pass the buck."

Victor's hand shook as he poured the water. Then he carried the glass over to him, "Have some water." "Thanks." Dixon smiled in a light mood, "I thought you wouldn't want to talk to me because of what happened with Starlight Media earlier."

Victor's face fell as soon as Dixon mentioned this, "I don't really want to care about you."

"Hey." Dixon took a sip of water and stretched his arms and legs. A needle was still pinned on the back of his hand. "I swear, I'm sure I have no interest in that woman."

"Then why is she so close to you? That means you must have had an unusual relationship with her before."

Dixon was speechless, "Then... Then you can't pretend I was blind before..."

Victor was amused, "You're actually admitting that you had poor eyesight in the past."

Dixon blinked indifferently, "Now I have good eyes."

"My mom used to have poor eyesight too, but now she's better." Victor lifted his chin up, "So she can't see you anymore."

"Oh, man." Dixon covered his chest, "Your father just woke up, you brat. Do you have to be so mean to me?"

"I warn you, don't say any curse words to me. Or you will be cursing yourself." Victor smiled smartly, "Because you are my father."

Dixon wanted to hit Victor but he couldn't. Finally, he slapped on the bedsheet, "If I don't catch Sonia later, I'm sure I'll die because you pissed me off."

"Don't die." Victor's words were profound, "You can leave, but you can't die."

Dixon froze, "Is that what you really want to say to me?"

"That's probably what my mother meant too." Victor was always smart. He could guess Sonia's heart exactly.

Sonia didn't like Dixon as much as

she used to. She kept all her emotions to herself. But it was impossible to say that all the years of love had gone up in smoke in an instant. No one could be so heartless.

The people who were able to leave right away might never have been in love from the beginning. Those who finally chose to leave just because they had suffered enough. Like Sonia, her reason defeated her emotion. So, she learned to protect herself and hide.

"If there is something that you need

us to do for you, anything, even if we have to give up all we can," Victor stared at Dixon and said, word for word, "Then mom and I will put our lives on the line to do it for you. So, you must be fine for us to have peace of mind."

Because Dixon was the man Sonia loved so much and heated so much. Dixon chose to die to end everything. Dixon was the father of her child.

Sonia originally thought she would feel free to leave with Victor when Dixon died. But when the Borris Group was in trouble, she came back.

If there were something that only they could do if Dixon died, then Sonia would do it even if it might need her to take her future to bet on.

'But Dixon, if you are safe and sound, then we will forget each other and live our lives respectively.' Victor's words were very straightforward that Dixon could understand in a second.

He was advising Dixon not to continue. Sonia wouldn't be with him, even if she didn't hate him anymore.

Dixon pulled at the corners of his

mouth and reached out. He wanted

to touch Victor. But his move might have tugged the muscle of his waist. So, he felt his kidney ache too.

"It's okay." Dixon's voice was low. With indescribable loneliness, "As long as she's there, I'll walk to her."
