The World of Beasts: She's Got Their Hearts

Chapter 174

When Analise showed up at the security force headquarters, she found herself in the middle of a chaos.

The most chaotic scene unfolded in the rubble of a building that had been destroyed. A massive tiger therian stood in the middle, surrounded by other therians. They had subjected him to their control with their ExoAbilities.

"What do we do? We can only control him. The potions don't work on him!" "Ms. Chamber would definitely have a solution. If only she were here!"

"It's all Gideon's fault for sending her away! Gideon, what have you done to her?" "Are you part of The Reclaimers? Did you deliberately..."

A long arrow whooshed past the air and struck the tiger therian in his arm. He growled and stumbled onto the ground after losing his balance.

The wolf therian collapsed onto the floor in exhaustion after the tiger therian had been shot, having spent all his energy subduing the latter.

"Finlay!"noveldrama

Analise jumped off the top floor and rushed toward Finlay with the use of the acceleration tool. Finlay suffered from multiple injuries across his body.

"Ana!"

"Ms. Chamber!"

Some of the therians were worried and astonished. Most of them were glad to see her.

"Why are you back? I sent you into the past with the time machine!" Gideon

clearly remembered the frequency wave of that time and space Analise traveled to.

"The time machine lacks energy." She reached out to pinch him. "I only spent half a day with young Gideon, but you were a pretty adorable kid."

"Ana!"

Gideon was surprised. He realized he had accidentally sent Analise back in time, which was why Ophir followed suit.

Before anyone could speak, the tiger therian struggled to get up from the floor, but one of his arms was limp.

Everyone used their ExoAbility to fight that massive tiger therian. The scene descended into mayhem.

"This is not the time to discuss the matter." Analise walked over to Finlay and placed a pill in his mouth.

"Ana..." Finlay opened his eyes, looking aggrieved and guilty.

"It's not your fault. Got it?" She caressed his head. "Have some rest. You don't have to help out here."

"Gideon, you're injured, too. Stop fighting. Bring Finlay aside." She also placed a pill in Gideon's mouth.

Before the two could speak, Analise approached Scott. "Scott, carry me on your back to the tallest building."

Among all the therians, Scott was the only one who looked relatively fine. The other lords and leaders had suffered various degrees of injuries.

Scott was probably the therian who could use his ExoAbility best.

"Okay."

When they reached the highest point, Analise aimed her bow at that massive tiger therian who had gone berserk.

A few arrows rained on the tiger therian, hitting him at various parts of his body.

"Analise, Ophir has been captured successfully."

Echo was happy to have received the good news from the main god.

"Why are Jamari and the other therians still in a state of madness?" Analise frowned.

"Ophir was caught, but the poison has been released. You have to

purify it yourself. Since this is net

unusual case, I shall aid you in the complete purification process."

"Okay."

"Analise, Gideon has raised the colorful deer well. You may purify your body in one try with the colorful deer."

"Oh, the colorful deer?"

Analise turned her attention to a corner of the collapsed building. There, Gideon and Finlay were staring at her, too.

When Analise was first transported back to the past, she had forgotten to give the colorful deer to Gideon She had only remembered it halfway into her journey and had to double back to do so. She had to hand over the colorful deer to Gideon with the ghost of herself instead of her human body.

The colorful deer from the Reward Store had two uses, and one of them was to revive the dead. She did not have the authority to check out the second one.

Since young Gideon had taken a stab for her, she decided to award this colorful deer to Gideon.

Thankfully, she found Gideon safe and sound when she returned to the present. The colorful deer must have worked.

So, the second use of the colorful deer was for purification. It was a large-scale purification tool supported by the system.

"Since the tiger therian is on the floor, I'll take this opportunity to go to Gideon and retrieve the colorful deer," she addressed Scott.

Scott immediately carried her and jumped to where Gideon was at.

"Ana." Gideon immediately stood up to welcome Analise when she approached.

"Gideon, hand over the colorful deer," she said to him without beating around the bush.

Momentarily taken aback, he immediately turned his hand into a paw and dug the claws into his left chest without hesitation.

"Gideon, what are you doing?" Her eyes wavered in great shock.

Gideon presented his blood-stained, transparent heart to Analise. A colorful deer was asleep in his heart.

"Ana..." He placed the colorful deer in her hand. "I knew this deer was probably important. That's why I had

it on me at all times. I never knew it could be this useful.

"After I was stabbed, the deer became one with my chest and turned into my

heart. Since you're asking for it now, I will return it to you."

Exhausted, he fell onto his knees. His breathing became increasingly laborious.
