The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2670

"Why didn't you let me tell Nibel that we already had a solution?"

I asked Theo after Nibel left.

Could he still have his guard against Nibel?

Theo looked in the direction Nibel had just left and did not seem to have heard my question.

"Theo?" I called out to him again.

That pulled his mind back. He then looked at me. "What?"

"I was asking you why didn't you let me tell Nibel that we already have a solution?"

Theo lowered his gaze and said in a deep voice, "To surprise him." He finished that with a smile.

As if I believed him.

I wanted to ask again, but seeing that it was almost time, I had to stop. "I'm going back to Green Orange to deal with some things first. I'll interrogate you properly when I get home tonight." "Be careful on your way."

If it were not for my trust in Theo, I would have released the clarification script a long time ago and false news about Grant Corporation would not be out there spreading around until now. Green Orange.

The moment I stepped through the doors of the company, a bright voice sounded from the office. "Wanda, you're finally here."

Then, I was pulled into the office.

"Grant Corporation's problem had gotten so big now. Has Theo gone dumb?"

Sure enough, Shannon wanted to ask me about this.

I shrugged. "We've already thought of a countermeasure, but Theo wants to wait."

"Wait for what? Aren't you guys supposed to be experiencing a public relations crisis at this time?"

Shannon's thoughts were the same as mine, and I sighed. "Yes, but I think Theo has his intentions, and I believe him."

"That's true too. That guy has outstanding wisdom and

extraordinary strength, after all. He has his reasons for doing anything, Shannon said lightly as she leaned against the table with her arms crossed.

"Outstanding wisdom and extraordinary strength. You have a high opinion of him," I muttered silently about what Shannon had just said. Marius came barging in at this moment, and he looked like he had not slept well for days. The dark circles around his eyes were so heavy. I was taken aback. "President Klein, what happened to you?"

"I've been talking to customers and drawing up designs these past two days. I can't handle it anymore." Marius burrowed into the sofa.

"Nina has gone on her honeymoon with Jason and won't be back till next month. Sorry to trouble you, President Klein. You can direct some of the customers to me. I'll deal with them."

Marius looked like he was grasping

at a lifeline when he heard this and exclaimed, "Great! I'll sort some out for you in a moment, but things seem quite tricky on Grant Corporation's side recently. Are you guys able to solve the problem?

"It's fine. It'll be solved in one more day."

Theo said to wait one more day and then he would issue a press release to clarify the matter. Even if I thought that the current situation would become worse the longer it

dragged on, I still had to trust him.

Marius nodded. "President Grant has an idea. You can trust him completely."

"I didn't expect you to say that." I was a little surprised by what Marius said.

He smiled. "Just consider the case as it stands."

"By the way, Shannon, you should be quite free recently with Jordan not around. You should take some customers too." I turned to Shannon, but she seemed to be thinking about something. She sure loved daydreaming.

"Shannon, hey." I patted her shoulder.

She instantly came back to her sense. "Oh, okay. Sure."

"What were you thinking about? You seem to let your thoughts run a lot recently."

"It's nothing. Everything's fine." Shannon smiled it off.

My brows furrowed as I looked at her. Shannon broke into a smile. "Oh, it's really nothing."

"Okay, nothing is good. You must tell me if anything happens."© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

"I got it."
