The Witches

Chapter 22: A Wish Granted

Chapter 22: A Wish Granted

"Oh relax," Danica spat and rolled her big brown eyes. "If we wanted to hurt you we would've by now.

Heck, if we wanted to hurt Kelsey she would've been your witness. But we didn't, nor will we,"

Kitty nodded her head. "Yeah, she's our first friend. It's not like we're afraid of her, we're The Terrible Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Triplets after all,"

I nodded my head. They're right. The generational Triplets have a horrid reputation and them being so

open to talk is a good sign, they even seem to be friends with Kelsey.

"What can we help you with?" Ceira asked us but Kelsey gave them a stern look and they could tell

instantly what the problem was. Ceira sighed, the snake around her neck hissed as she buried her face

in her hands. She looked up at Kelsey while her sisters were still groaning, "for the hundreth time,

Kelsey, there is no leaving this place. You're stuck here forever now,"

I shook my head. "I will not have this. There must be something we can do?"

Danica raised her shoulders and shook her head. "I'm afraid there isn't much we can do, but there is

this other option but it's a long shot,"

Kelsey bit her thumb nail and looked into Danica's eyes, "we're all ears,"

Danica and her sisters took us to their entertainment area. There were thick leather couches and a

whole gaming system, there were books and even a karaoke stage. It seemed like a lovely hotspot for

youngins. She sat down on the singular couch and her sisters stood next to her, Kelsey and I sat down

on the two seated couch and looked at Danica who settled both her arms on the couch's armrest. "You

know Earth? Everyone knows the element Earth right?"

We nodded our heads.

"Well, think about it. The Earth is trapping us inside of itself and if there's one person that can set us

free it would be Earth herself. She can talk to Earth Meledsan and convince it to set us free but there's

a tiny problem,"

Danica explained and looked over at Ceira who nodded her head and went ahead and poured us all

some whiskey.

"What's the problem?" Kelsey asked as she received her glass and took a one big sip.

"She is new," Kitty told us, "she doesn't know her identity and doesn't know her powers, ability and how

special she is. To her she's just a normal witch and that causes her to not receive most of our calls,"

"That's true," Ceira said. "We've tried for years to communicate with her but she wasn't in Mele or 'San

so we figured that she's on earth. Which she was,"

I nodded my head. This means that she's here now and could still help us. We should just try harder.

"Why's everyone here?"

"We're in between good and bad, rejects," Kelsey explained.

"I refuse to believe that The Terrible Triplets are between good and evil,"

They all giggled on cue and ended together as well. "Don't worry about us, sugar,"

"But I'm not between good or bad, I'm a white witch. Straight up,"

They all looked at me curiously. It seemed like they were as lost and confused as I was.

"You know I've heard of a case like this before, you can ask dad," Kitty said, "some witches are brought

here through punishments or lessons that they must learn,"

"Lemme see if I can help you!" Ceira stated and walked up to me. She opened my hands and held

them in hers. Her eyes turned bright orange and a gentle breeze surrounded her. She reopened her

eyes with a large smile on her face, "I could trace whatever brought you here. It's my mentor, she's a

genie. Have you made a wish lately?"

I wrecked my brain. But there was not an incident that I could of thought about that involves me and

genies and or wishes. So I shook my head in confidence.

"Are you sure?" Danica asked.

"Positive,"

"Maybe you just didn't know. Maybe you rubbed a lamp and said your wish, sometimes wishes are so

complicated it takes the genie a while to process it and make it happen. It's not like in the television you

know," Ceira shared.

"Yesterday I cleaned a storeroom. We dusted off lamps, I used a cloth to thoroughly clean it and I

might've said something... but I'm not sure,"

Ceira nodded her head and stepped away from me. "Okay. Well the good news is that I know her, her

name is Moxie. The bad news is that... there's probably nothing that she could do, wishes are like that

you know,"

I shook my head. No. "I didn't sign up for this. She didn't even introduce herself and make it known to

me that she would be taking my wishes,"

It wasn't right. I've always wanted to meet a genie but not in these circumstances. We need to fix this, I

have to get back to my perfect world and poor Derek and Jared that I've dragged into this mess as well.

"I could call her and schedule an appointment,"

I grunted and took a swig of my drink. "Great, so she's a busy genie,"

Danica nodded her head. "Yeah. She's a professor and teaches young up and coming genies,"

Ceira took out her orange crystal slide and the stone picked up that she wanted to call Moxie. One can

send messages via the crystal slide by just thinking about it and holding the stone in your hand. The

same when dailing someone.

Someone answered. I heard her scheduling the meeting with Moxie but she's not available today but

we can be squeezed in tomorrow evening. That's the only time she's free so we'd be with her off duty.

She's only doing us that favour because she personally knows Ceira.

"Well then, we'll be on our way. Thanks for the help guys," Kelsey said. Her friends nodded their heads.

"We'll be here at eight tomorrow, let's go Sindra,"

I greeted The Terrible Triplets and we were off. We hailed an orb that took us to the hostiles, the

students weren't panicking. They really don't know that they're missing so then why do Kelsey and I

remember?

We went our different ways, luckily I still remember where my room is and opened the door. Derek and

Jared didn't seem to miss me much, making out in their PJs under the covers. How could they be so

okay with all this?

I cleared my throat and they both stopped and looked at me.

"Where have you been?" Derek asked me.

I shook my head. "Do you guys know where we are?"

The boys looked at each other and shrugged. "In our bedroom?" Replied Jared but it was more like he

asked me.

"Since when do we sleep in the same bedroom? You need to remember,"

"We sleep in the same bedroom 'cause we're dating," Derek replied, "now come here and join us,"

He kissed Jared on the cheek who blushed and bit his lower lip as he giggled. I rolled my eyes. Their

memories can't be jogged, there's nothing I can do so I might as well join them.
