But soon my smile dropped as my heart began aching, Reese was still mad at me. I can’t blame him, but can’t he understand that I love him? That I’d do anything for him.
The door opened as Reese came into view not uttering a word. He didn’t even look my way. Soon I felt the tears prickle and drip from my eyes.
I stood up and walked towards the bathroom. Soon warn. Arms wrapped around my waist and his face muzzled in my neck.
“I’m sorry.” he whispered planting a kiss on my neck. He turned me around and pulled me into a tight embrace.
“Reese I’m sorry I d-didn’t meant to not consider your feelings, I mean I wanted to show you that I loved you and i-i-” he cut me off as he crashed his lips onto mine. Running out of breath he pulled away kissing the crook of my neck.
“I’m going to mark you.” he whispered but my voice was to weak. He the licked the spot and bit down.
The pain was truly excruciating but soon dissipated into nothing. I moaned in pleasure of the feeling. Soon he licked the mark and and pulled back.
He pushed my hair to the side and stared at it. “beautiful” he whispered. I smiled in happiness. He finally marked me.
He let his hand run through my hair as I caught a glimpse of his busted knuckles.
“Your hands. Did you hurt them?” I questioned referring to our kidnappers.
“I’m sorry Colleen, but no one messes with my family. I wouldn’t have let them live but I thought about you for a moment.” he said.
I was about to reply when Sydney Cries echoed through our bedroom. “I got her.” Reese said as he picked her up.
He cooed her and tried shushing her. He cried quieted down as she sniffled. Her fat tears rolled down her face as she tried keeping quiet.
I lifted her into my arms as I headed towards the bed to beast feed her. Reese sat behind me as I fed her. Slowly her eyes began to close. When she finished she gurgled and giggled.
My sweet Sydney.
Reese’s P. O. V :
I watched as Colleen played with our daughter. My daughter. I left the room after excusing myself and headed down towards the basement.
“are you ready to let me go yet?” he questioned.
“No, why would I?” I asked a sly smile on my face.
“You can’t do this Reese, it’s over, it’s gone. I can’t going it back!” he pleaded. I threw a punch in his face.
“Stop speaking shit! I know you know! You’re the one that made the deal, you know why and where and how to get it back!” I yelled at him in anger.
I began feeling my wolf rise. Blood dropped from his face and he looked tired, guilty, regretful.
“Even if I wanted to get my wife and my daughters wolves back, believe me I tried getting put of this deal, I tried to live, I tried to make up for all of this, but it’s not working! It won’t work! I made a deal and I can’t break it!” he said promising.
“What did you make a deal with? What? What the he’ll are you?” I questioned in disbelief. “Where are their wolves.” I said as he looked away and said.
“I can’t do that because I made a deal with the devil.”
Colleen’s POV:
Sydney fell asleep again. My baby is so damn lazy. I headed down the stairs to prepare dinner for us. The door opened and Reese returned with a smile on his face.
“What’s got you so happy?” I questioned.
He took in a breath and looked at me. before going down on his knees.
“Colleen, my love, my mate, my lifeline, because if you I’m the happiest man alive, the strongest alpha existing and for that I have something to ask you, will you marry me?”
A simple smile took over my face. “I will!” I whispered barely audible, he stood up and span me in his arms.
“I’m sorry for all we’ve been through and I’m sorry for all I’ve put you through and I hope I’ll make you the happiest woman alive.” he said. And right then I felt a stir.
It felt odd.
