The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

Calvin sighed before speaking, “I want to meet a sketch artist. The best one.” he said, out of nowhere.

“Sketch Artist?”

“Hmm. I need to search for that woman who disappeared that night, and Ethlyn landed at her place.” Calvin said, analyzing the whole situation.

“So, you believe that Ethlyn is innocent and….”

“Not this soon, Zordan. But I can’t even let this matter go just like that. I wouldn’t forgive myself if I would find out that whatever Ethlyn said was true.” he said and saw Zordan smirking, “Stop thinking whatever your mind is thinking. I’m not interested in solving her issues, but I don’t want anyone to speak rubbish about my daughter’s mother if that is not true.”

“Oh, okay. I get it. Everything is related to Rose.” Zordan nodded his head and left to complete the work that was assigned to him.

‘I won’t sit quietly until I find the whole truth. I hope whatever you have told is true, Ethlyn, if anything… anything will lead to my thoughts about you right then that will be the last day in my daughter’s life.’ Calvin thought.

Now that he had all the information regarding that night from Ethlyn’s side. He had to search for the missing piece of information.

Hours later!!

The sketch of that woman from the mating ball was in Calvin’s hand. He recalled meeting her years back, when he had attended the mating ball in search of his mate and also as an Alpha of Blood Moon Pack because all the Alphas had to attend the mating ball if single, then with his Beta or with his Luna to keep their pack member in check. To relieve from the pack by breaking his/her bond with the pack, in case any of their pack members wanted to move out of the pack after finding their mate.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

In the end, a report used to share with the Alphas giving them how many new pack members were added to the pack and how many of them were left.

That night, when Calvin didn’t find his mate anywhere, he thought to enjoy his night with someone who hadn’t found her mate instead of spending time alone because Zordan had come there with his girlfriend. They had decided to stay in a relationship until any one of them found their mate.

That was when Calvin saw that woman sitting at the bar, wearing a golden color bandage dress of sheer fabric. He checked her out from top to bottom before reaching near her.

“Hey, beautiful,” She looked at Calvin from top to bottom and admired his good looks and, obviously, his masculine body. Calvin chuckled, realizing that she was already impressed by his good looks.

“Hii,” She said. “You’re?”

“No one important. But yes, a warrior of the Blood Moon Pack.” Calvin didn’t lie to her completely; he was indeed a warrior, and nor did he tell her the truth about his Alpha position because he wanted the craze among women to become LUNA of the pack.

“A very handsome warrior, you’re.”

“What about you?”

“Same as you. No one special for now, but hope to become someone important one day.” She responded, looking around and then turning her head back to Calvin. “I mean, I’m praying to Moon Goddess to pair me with an Alpha or Beta, you know.” She said, shrugging her shoulder.

“But until then, I’m single and not ready to mingle.” She added, running her hand on Calvin’s shirt.

“You’re talking to me, but it looks like you’re looking at someone else,” Calvin said, grabbing her waist and pulling her in his arms.

“Really? I gave you that vibe?” She giggled, running her finger sensually. “I was making sure that my wolf doesn’t smell any mouth-watering smell.”

Calvin looked around in search of someone better than her, but unfortunately, whoever he found a better choice was with someone already. “Now, don’t take revenge on me by looking around.” She spoke, making him look toward her.

‘Only she has a figure; otherwise, she is so irritating.’ Calvin thought, looking at her.

“She is beautiful, Calvin.”

Calvin was taken aback, hearing Roselet’s voice. He looked to the side and saw Roselet standing there, looking at a sketch. He then looked at someone else standing near the door, her mommy, who was throwing daggers from her eyes, thinking of him as a shameless person.

“Who is she?” Roselet asked.

Calvin rolled that sketch and kept it away. Then he picked her up and made her sit on his lap. “Love, now you should stop entering my office without taking permission. I’m your Alpha as well, along with your best friend and your daddy, okay?”

“Okay.” Roselet pouted. “By the way, who was she?”

“She is someone who I’m searching for. So, from now onwards, you’re also on a mission to search for her and inform your Alpha immediately if you find anything about it. Did you get that Alpha Heir?”

“Yes, Alpha.” Roselet nodded her head.

‘And mom and dad told me that he is not a womanizer anymore. A person like can never change.’ Ethlyn thought. ‘Thank Moon Goddess that there is a conditioner to ‘FALL IN LOVE’ before marriage by Rose. And I will use that time to show his real face and what kind of man he is, and my daughter definitely shouldn’t be with him. Who knows he would even like to have Rose when she will grow old?’ That alone thought scared her.

And that was when she observed that Calvin had to make Roselet sit in his lap. She had watched a lot of movies and even read books about how a single father assaulted his daughter. One was from her favorite book ‘HOPELESS’ by Collen Hoover.
