The Last Ceo’s Deal

Coma

CHAPTER ELEVEN.

Easton’s Pov.

I suspected him to have engaged himself in something illegal, the flashy cars were evident, the renovation of the house, increase in allowance and luxurious trips with his wife, Christine’s Mum.

My guts told me something wasn’t right but I was blinded by the fact that he’s a manager of the biggest company in America.

Not only is he a thief but a Monster. A heartless man who doesn’t even care about his own son and how he will live after this. His sole concentration was on the money he stole and he fled without looking back.

He thought I didn’t overheard what Christine said back then to him the night she returned from school. He ripped her, damn!!! He fucking had his way with her and she’s been battling with it for quite sometime. How could…how could he even think of doing that to his own daughter? The daughter of your wife?

Shit!!! I hurl the remote close to me and smash it on the wall with anger.

“Easton!!” Mum yelled from the living room but I ignored.

She doesn’t even know what her daughter has been going through, how bad…poor Christine.

“Easton what is wrong with you? This is the fifth time you’re smashing things.” She came inside the room and shouted

“I guess they are just useless.”

“No they are not, you’re venting your anger towards anything.”

“That should be cool right?”

“What?”

“The person I’m supposed to vent all my anger on escaped and played a prank on me and made my sister to be in a shitty hell mansion right now doing what God knows.”

“Eas…”Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“A dad who willingly left his child just for money….. and pushed his daughter to the hands of those he stole from, Is he even human?

“I don’t know how to answer that, Easton.”

“He’s a monster!”

“He’s your Dad!!”

“To hell with such a title!! I don’t have a dad!”

“No matter what he did, he’s still your father, he might come back soon…stop saying such things.”

“Even if he comes back now, he’s still not my dad, not anymore and stop trying to act all saint and paint shitty advice on my head, it won’t work.”

“Oh really!! You think you’re the only one hurt here? That monster is also my husband, that wicked man left me without thinking twice and made my baby girl dwell in the midst of some thugs who might decide to do anything to her without thinking.”

“Really? And you’re here telling me to still call him dad?”

“You don’t have a choice.”

“I have a choice in this one Mum, Who calls a rapist dad? Who the heck will take and molest his own daughter?” I yelled in anger and immediately regretted saying that.

“What??” Shit! Mum isn’t supposed to know about that.

“Answer me Easton, what do you mean by that?” Her eyes were already glistening with tears threatening to fall.

“Mum! I just want to let you know that I can never have a dad as a monster and no matter where he is on this earth, I will find him and bring Christine home.”

“Easton?” I left her in the room and went out. I really need to clear my head right now. I’m so angry and tense.

*******

Fanuel’s Pov.

“You look beautiful dude, I should take a photo of you.” Edward teased me and I took off the shirt.

“Don’t even try that, the shitty girl I picked splashed hot coffee on my shirt on my way coming here. Get me a shirt or something to wear.”

“I should do that asap, before you snatch my girlfriend away with this fabulous skin.”

“Is Celine coming over?”

“I wish, she said she will be coming but I doubt that.” He said and went inside to get the cloth.

Celine was his girlfriend, a rich mannerless brat who was head over heels in love with edward. Edward claimed to like her too but the friend I know was just saying that because of the free carnal benefits he derives from her.

He was still a flirt despite that, cute as hell and won’t settle for less. He gets what he wants and at anytime he wants it, he’s a genius but he can be stupid at times. He’s sweet today but he can be annoying tomorrow, above all things he loves me to the moon and back ever since we were in high school, we’ve fought and resolved at the same time.

He’s like a brother to me and I can trust him with anything.

“Stop missing me, I’m here already.”

“You wish.” I collected the Calvin Klein shirt from him and threw it on my body.

“hmmmm…smells nice, never knew you had an eye for Klein’s, you have a way of copying my favorite designer’s product.”

“Care for a drink?”

“Yeah, Shirley Temple on ice cubes.”

“I don’t have such expensive shit here man, go home and drink that.”

“You shouldn’t be my friend.”

“Yeah right? I should just kill you and take your place as the next CEO and get married to Celine, maybe BBC’s network will allow me to watch another news with a different headline.”

“Shit!! You saw that?”

“It’s everywhere man.” He went to his wine stand and got a drink with two tumblers.

“This is a vodka gin without ice cubes, are you in or out?”

“I’m in.”

“Good, so what are you gonna do about this marriage fiasco?”

“I really don’t know Edward! The company is at stake, if I don’t do something, they will drag our company to Court in regards to the pending projects that were untouched.”

“That’s bad, you know. Your dad mustn’t have heard of this, have you visited the hospital since then?”

“No, mum has been doing that.”

He tilted his head to the side and glared at me, shaking his head in the Process.

“What?”

“So you feel comfortable by letting your Mum visit dad all the time, knowing how emotional women can be once they get pressured to do something especially with their state of health, Common Fanuel…she will sing like a bird.”

Edward said and cold chills ran through my body, he was right…there’s every possibility of mum telling dad about the company’s update. Mr Hudson won’t easily give up on his company even on his dying bed, he will want to know every nook and cranny of the company.

Why haven’t I thought of these since?

“I need to go to the hospital” I say breathlessly.

“Chill nothing will happen, you can always call the doctor and ask about his health.”

“That’s right, I’ll do that now.”

“As for now, you need a bride.”

“Don’t tell me that shit bro, ain’t getting married.”

“Then watch the company crumble.”

“Aaargh!.. why are you sounding like my Mum right now?”

“Cause Momma is right, hey! I have a good bride suggestion for you.”

“Really, who?”

“Mr Webb’s daughter”

“Holy shit!! Even the altar will reject her on that day, I feel cockroaches crawling on my body when you say that, don’t repeat such statements.. I could puke out.”

“She will make a good wife, you know, especially in bed too.” I picked up my drink and sipped while I stood up to make a call.

“You’re an ass Edward.”

“The feeling is mutual baby, I can’t wait to be your best man.” He laughed at his silly statement while I spoke with the doctor.

“Hello Doc, it’s Fanuel Hudson”

“Fanuel, hope you’re doing great.”

“Yeah, Doc. I’m calling on behalf of my Dad, I know I’ve been so busy with work stuff and I haven’t visited in a while. How is he?”

I asked him but he hesitated and paused at the other end.

“Hello…Doctor Kyle?”

“I’m sorry Fanuel, I thought your mum told you.”

“Tell me what, is there anything wrong with my father? Talk to me” I yelled and that startled Edward who had a questioning face.

“I’m sorry Fanuel but your dad fell into a coma last week.”
