Chapter 873
Siren was absolutely floored by what she heard. She must have been exposed, or else Matthew wouldn't be so harsh.
But she didn't think the explanation made any sense either. If she was exposed, she would've been restrained and put under interrogation. But that wasn't what was happening now.
At this point, there was only one way to explain it—Matthew had a serious violent side of him.
Siren thought about it and decided to hang on a little longer. After the aphrodisiac kicked in, Matthew would be out of his mind, and she could easily manipulate him.
Her mind raced with those thoughts as she gasped out loud. "D-Don't get too rough. Be gentler, please."
With a smack, Matthew slapped Siren across her face again.
Matthew coldly asked, "You like it spicy, don't you? How does it feel?"
Siren pressed her hand to her face, her cheek feeling numb from the hit.
Matthew must have lost it. The aphrodisiac didn't make him get wild; it only made him even more violent.
She regretted giving Matthew the aphrodisiac. If she had known better, she'd have gone with a sedative instead. But now was already too late.
Siren could only hope Matthew would quickly wrap up with the violent foreplay and get down to business. She murmured, "Take it easy on me. This is too much. Why don't we move on to the next part? I'm really looking forward to it. Hurry up.
"I
She looked like she couldn't wait any longer, hoping Matthew would hurry up and get to it.
Matthew slowly clenched his fist, ready to strike. But then he suddenly relaxed his hand.
He had a change of heart as he slowly crouched down and placed his hand on Siren's back. Then, he grabbed a broom and swung it straight toward her perky butt.
As the broom struck her rounded backside, it felt like hitting jelly. Her firm muscles rippled and trembled.
Siren suddenly threw her head back, crying out in pain. "It hurts. Please stop. You're going to break me."
Matthew furrowed his brows. Her scream made his throat feel dry, tempting him to take her right there. But he still swung the broom down. The broom struck Siren over and over again, leaving her perky butt red and swollen.
Tears streamed down Siren's face as she begged, her voice choking up, "Stop beating me. Hurry up and move on to the next part. Just take me already, please. I can't hold back anymore."noveldrama
The pain was excruciating, and she couldn't take it anymore. The entire duration felt like torture. She'd never been hit like this before.
Siren was dying to flee back to Eastoria. This was more than anyone could handle.
Matthew snickered. Siren didn't seem to have realized she was exposed and was still faking it. He swung harder as the broom came down with a sharp whoosh, hitting her rounded rear hard.
Siren shrieked in agony, yelling through her tears, "Please stop! If you hit me again, you'll break me, and you won't be able to use me. Cut it out. You could have killed me there."
Matthew's voice was cold and lifeless, sending a shiver down her spine. "I want you dead."
Siren trembled, her heart racing with fear. Had she been busted? Otherwise, playing around like this wouldn't be so nerve-wracking.
"Stop messing with me please."
Matthew hit Siren again with the broom. "This isn't a joke. I'm dead serious."
Siren was shaking from the pain with her back covered in sweat. Matthew's tone
was too serious to sound like he was kidding.
She finally caught on that something
was off, but she wasn't sure if Matthew had figured out her identity. She kept pleading, leaving things vague. "I-I don't want to die. Have mercy on me, please. It do anything you ask."
Matthew scoffed. "If you're not confessing, I'll just keep hitting you. I'll beat you until it's over."
After that, Matthew swung the broom at Siren again.
Siren was in so much pain that her teeth were practically bleeding. The taste of blood filled her mouth as she spat out some blood. Her mind felt like a bomb had gone off—everything was in a mess.
She had considered every possible scenario when she got busted, but she never imagined a man would be brutal enough to kill her. At that point, she finally understood the gravity of her circumstances.
Seeing Matthew ready to swing the broom again, Siren screamed, "I'll talk! I'll tell you everything."
Matthew stood up and let Siren go, then sat back down and watched her sprawled on the floor. "Spill it. Don't try anything funny, or it'll be the end of you."
Siren flipped over and tried to sit up, but the pain in her backside was so unbearable that she stopped moving right away.
With her body turned to the side, she responded, "Alright, I'll say it. I'm..."
At this point, Siren started to hesitate. She wasn't sure how much Matthew knew about her or whether she should spill everything.
Matthew coldly warned, "I don't want to hear lies. Stop wasting my time. If what you're saying doesn't add up to what I know, I have no reason to keep you alive anymore."
He grabbed the table as he spoke, looking like he was ready to swing it at her head if things went south.
Siren was freaking out now. "Alright, I'll tell you everything. I'm an Eastorian working for Springflower, and I'm here to collect information."
Matthew kept a straight face, but he was on high alert inside. After taking out so many Eastorians, he knew they'd eventually come for him. It looked like it was finally happening now.
Seeing Siren stay quiet, Matthew kicked her, making her roll from the side to her back.
His gaze was sharp as knives as he locked eyes with her. "Keep going."
Siren hissed in pain when her butt made contact with the floor. Her wounds throbbed with sharp pain.
She wanted to adjust her posture,
but she immediately stopped when her eyes met Matthew's cold glare She stammered, "I'll talk. The leader of Springflower sent me to
ie
investigate you. She wants to know more about you."
She only told half the truth, hiding the fact that she was sent to kill Matthew. She
was worried that if she told the whole truth, she'd be a goner.
Matthew coldly grunted. A bit of cash was enough to dig up his background, so there was no need to send a pretty face for that-unless their goal was to take his life. It was highly likely she was an assassin using her looks to lure him in.
Matthew made his judgment almost instantly, and his gaze turned even colder. He
put his foot on Siren's chest. If he applied any more pressure, her firm chest would be squashed.
Looking down at Siren, he asked, "Do you want to die, or do you want to live?"
What do you think?
