The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 867

Matthew barely held back his laughter. "Keep training. You need proper

preparations to be good at something. If you want to live off a woman, you've got to be in good shape and be able to handle her."

Zachary nodded. "I guess that's just how it works. I'm just getting a little impatient. Good things take time, so I'll take my time training my squats."

He felt a little down. No one in the whole security team could do squats for so long. He was the only one who could pull it off.

Some of his friends were even worse. Only a handful of them could last for a minute.

Zachary didn't know it'd be so hard to take a shortcut in life.

Smiling, Matthew advised, "Don't torture yourself. If it's too much, then maybe you should stop living off others."

Zachary shook his head. "Even if it's hard or exhausting, I'm going to keep

training. My one goal in life is to live off a woman. I believe if I set my mind on it, I can make it happen."

Matthew was a little impressed. He had to admit that Zachary had a clear goal and persistence. Someone like that was bound to succeed. "Keep working hard."

Matthew waved at Zachary and walked out of Wealthwave Group, heading toward his car by the curb.

As Matthew got to the car, he noticed a woman standing by the door, looking at her phone. She was in the way.

Thinking that she would leave in a minute, he stayed quiet and waited for her to walk away.

The woman was on her phone. As she casually looked up, she spotted Matthew and merely glanced at him for a moment before going back to check her phone.

Realizing she wasn't going to move anytime soon, Matthew couldn't wait anymore and approached her. "Excuse me. Can you please move? I need to get going."

The woman pointed at Matthew's car and asked with a smile, "Is this your car?" Matthew nodded. "Yes. That's my car."

With an apologetic look, she diffidently smiled. "First off, I owe you an apology. I was walking here earlier and accidentally tripped, scraping the back of your car. I've been waiting for you to come back so that we could sort it out."

Matthew was a little surprised. It was rare to find someone like her these days. He couldn't help but look at her a little longer.

The woman was gorgeous with adorable and mesmerizing eyes. She looked graceful with an oval face, and her eyebrows were nicely arched Her face showed a mix of apology and panic, like she was feeling lost after getting into trouble. Instead of getting mad, Matthew felt sorry for her.

Matthew cleared his throat. "Let me check it out."

He walked to the back of his car and noticed a scratch that was about four inches long. Seeing the woman's panicked expression, he felt reluctant to make her pay for it.

"Forget about it. It's just a small matter, so it doesn't matter. You may go now."

The woman was taken aback. After pausing for a moment, she stepped forward. "That won't do. You're being nice and generous, but I can't just let it go. No matter how much it costs, I have to pay you back. Just tell me the amount, and I'll pay you."

Matthew had seen women act cute and innocent to get out of situations, and he'd also come across those unreasonable women who blamed the driver for parking at the wrong place. To make matters worse, he had even stumbled upon women trying to scam the car owner.

It was rare to find a woman who was so reasonable.

Matthew had a much more favorable impression of the woman. Smiling, he replied, "In that case, how about paying me 100 dollars?"

She furrowed her brows. "Is a hundred dollars enough?"

He thought highly of her and grinned. "It's enough. A hundred dollars will do."

The woman opened her wallet and searched inside. In the end, she pulled out 20 dollars and handed the bill to Matthew. "Sorry about that. I only have 20 dollars on me. How about you give me your number, and I'll pay you the remaining 80 dollars tomorrow?" noveldrama
