The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 862

Close the door? Was Matthew about to make a move on Rachel again?

Tracy couldn't shake the image of the gorgeous and elegant Rachel in Matthew's arms. Hearing the demand to close the door really pissed her off.

She really didn't want to shut the door. But as she got there, she grabbed it and shut it hard. With a bang, the door slammed into the doorframe. All she could do was take her frustration out of it.

Meanwhile, Matthew fixed his intense gaze on Rachel. With the urge building up inside him, he raised his hand and was about to make a move.

But Rachel suddenly blushed and pointed at the door. "The door isn't locked."

Matthew hummed in acknowledgment and turned to lock the door. Then, he picked up Rachel and pushed her back against the wall. She exclaimed in surprise.

By the door, Tracy heard the sound of the door locking. She couldn't help but mutter to herself, "This pervert is so impatient. Just you wait. I-I'm going to approach Tessa and work together with her. With her help, I'll make sure you leave Rae for good."

Thinking about that, Tracy immediately went to her car on the basement floor and headed straight for Tessa's place.

In truth, Tracy had been reaching out to Tessa since a few days ago. But she was never home, and her phone couldn't be reached.

Tracy hoped that she could finally speak to Tessa that day.noveldrama

...

Inside a building, Tessa wore a tight short-sleeve top and yoga pants. Her outfit showed off her perfect curves. But that was still not the most eye-catching part. What really stood out was the metallic exoskeleton she had on top of her clothes. The exoskeleton wasn't glossy like metal. It was hard to tell what it was made of, but it was sleek and light.

Tessa picked up a pen from the table. Her movement looked natural.

Leander asked with a grin, "You didn't exert the muscles on your arm, right?"

Tessa looked exhausted. "No. I just had the thought of picking up the pen. Then, the exoskeleton will start reaching out. My arm is moving because the exoskeleton is guiding it."

Leander nodded. "You're doing great. The brainwaves you're sending out are totally in sync with the signals the exoskeleton is picking up."

Tessa took a deep breath. She felt totally drained, as if she hadn't slept for three days.

She was constantly controlling the exoskeleton with her brainwaves, and it felt like learning to walk again. It was so tiring, but she was finally seeing some results.

Tessa pulled herself together and eagerly asked, "I want to throw a punch to test how well my body and the exoskeleton work together."

She agreed to participate in the experiment solely for this purpose.

Leander chuckled. "Give it a try. It's when you push yourself that we can see if the exoskeleton works."

After saying that, he motioned to the staff nearby before instructing, "Go ahead. Try hurling a punch."

After getting the green light, Tessa felt excited. She'd been waiting for this moment and sent a walking command to the exoskeleton.

Upon receiving her brain signal, the exoskeleton started moving. Her legs moved forward, and her arms gently swung to keep her steady. Even though her movements looked a little stiff, her footing was stable.

Tessa had been practicing walking for the past few days, so she was already used

to the exoskeleton moving her legs. Upon arriving at the table, she stopped in her tracks.

Standing nearby, Leander instructed, "Punch the table with everything you've got. Let's see how it goes."

Looking at the table, a hint of

resentment flickered in Tessa's

eyes. It was like Matthew was right

in front of her as she thought to

herself, "Let's find out if you can take my punch."

After talking to herself, she immediately sent the signal to the exoskeleton to punch the table hard.

The moment the thought flashed in her mind, the exoskeleton kicked into action its arm started pulling back before blasting a powerful punch forward. The metallic fist came crashing down on the table with a whoosh.

With a snap, the wooden table easily shattered with a single punch. Its legs were broken, and wood splinters were all over the floor.

Looking at the mess on the floor, Tessa nearly jumped with excitement. This was

the kind of crazy power she was after.

"Just you wait, Matthew! You'll regret turning down the idea of remarrying me," Tessa thought.
