The Cherished Wife

Chapter 563

Chapter 563

Charles just pressed his lips together, a hint of a smile playing on them. "You're worrying about nothing. It's not just the guys, others will be there too." "Really? So, they'll all know about us?" Noelle gestured to herself, a bit concerned.

"Don't sweat it, they're all good people," Charles reassured her, giving her shoulder a comforting pat. "No need to fret over me."

Sean made a couple of tsk-tsk sounds, rolling his eyes. "If I'd known you guys were coming, I wouldn't have bothered showing up. Can you believe I bolted over here the second I stepped out of surgery?"

"You seem like you really don't want to see me, huh?"

A deep voice floated from behind Sean. At the sound, Sean's mouth twitched into an embarrassed grin that seemed out of place on his usually innocent face. Catching the gleeful looks on Charles and Noelle's faces, Sean turned around with a mock cry of despair and waved. "Hey, Mr. Fischer, it's been a while!"

The man was dressed in a sleek black suit, standing tall and straight. He casually held a coat over one long arm, a small leather case at his side.

He was a bit taller than Sean, giving him a towering presence. He gave Sean a condescending look and, seeing Sean's goofy antics, his dark eyes intensified with a sardonic lift of his lips. "You haven't changed a bit in all these years!"

His voice was captivating, the kind that stuck in your memory, but it carried a chill that could outdo even Charles'.

He arched an eyebrow, glanced

"It's been a while, Mr. Fischer!" Charles greeted with a cool ease that Sean lacked. His eyes twinkled with mirth as he casually wrapped

Noelle was indeed spellbound. She had always thought Charles was the pinnacle of handsomeness, but Steven was just as breathtaking. Actually, the famed Four Young Masters of Brookville lived up to their reputation. Each one was striking in his own right, with a unique charm that went beyond the standard level of handsome.

Noelle blinked, trying to process. Steven's allure was distinct from Charles's, Sean's, and Peter's. His refinement seemed to surpass even that of a woman's, yet without a hint of being effeminate.

Charles's gaze darkened ever so slightly as he gave Steven a quick, once-over. He gave Noelle a gentle pinch at the waist and introduced, "Noetle, this is Steven, Mr. Fischer. You can just call him Steven from now on!" to

Charles's voice, crisp and soothing, snapped Noelle out of her daze. Suddenly aware of all three men looking at her, she felt a rush of embarrassment. "Uh... hi Steven, I'm Noelle!" she managed to say.
