Chapter 20
Chapter 20
Back at the hotel, we agreed to hang out in Easton's room since it was the biggest. He had a full-on
suite with a living room and everything. I grabbed the games out of the room before bringing it to where
we were meeting. Leo sat off by himself as I set the games on the coffee table. It was a few minutes
before the girls arrived.
"I hit the jackpot," Freya said as she held up a few heavy-looking bags. After she set them down, she
pulled out a few bottles of alcohol. She had wine coolers, beer, and straight liquor. I briefly wondered
how she got them. We were all underaged. She cracked open a beer and handed it to me before
everyone else helped themselves.
"Thanks for inviting us," she said to me.
"No problem," I smiled back at her. Leo immediately reached for the bottle as I sat on the floor near him
but I pulled it away.
"It's fine," I told him. He sighed but sat back and left it alone.
"I worry you'll do something stupid," he muttered. I chose to ignore him. I took a sip of the bitter liquid
before cringing. The taste would definitely take some getting used to but it wasn't bad. Everyone
decided on Cards Against Humanity first. Leo opted out of playing. By the time I finished downing the
beer, I was laughing along with everyone else at the ridiculous answers. Freya handed me another
beer and we moved on to truth or dare Jenga. The prompts were stupid but funny. Halfway into my
second beer, the alcohol hit me all at once. I guess I was a lightweight. I chugged the rest of the beer
before setting it off to the side. I felt like dancing, the mood was good. I didn't even realize I was
swaying until Leo steadied my shoulders. Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
"I'm taking my kid back to our room. He's drunk," Leo said.
"Aw come on, that's when the fun starts," Freya pouted. Leo glared at her before he stood me up and
usher me out of the room without another word. He put me on his back and carried me back to our
room. He sat me on the bed before he started taking my shoes off. I pulled the tab for the bandage
under my shirt to let my chest free.
"Sky, what are you doing?" Leo asked when he finally looked up.
"I can't breathe in this thing," I tried to explain. When I successfully got it off, I tossed it to the floor.
"Leo," I slurred. I tried to control my speech but it had a mind of its own at the moment. I squished his
face between my hands as I giggled, swaying his head back and forth.
"You're such a tsundere. You know that?" I giggled.
"A what?" He asked confused. I squished his cheeks together further, making a fish face.
"Tsundere. You act cold and hard, but your really warm and gentle to those you care about, even if it's
just secretly looking out for them," I explained. My brain was doing whatever it wanted, and there was
no stopping it. I moved my hands from his cheeks to his neck. I was tempted by the worried look in his
eye. I stood in front of him, swaying slightly. When I did, Leo's hands caught my waist to steady me.
