Tangled Temptations

Harvey watched her serene face, and how it transformed into a piece of art as she lowered her gaze. Suddenly, he softly said, "Her face isn't as beautiful as yours!"

Eloise paused her actions, then lifted a leg and continued her massage. Harvey stared at her slender leg. Even her knee was soft and delicate. He had never seen a leg that was so enticing.

He couldn't resist, his Adam's apple bobbed...

When they got in the car, Eloise sat in the back seat.

Harvey placed his hands on the steering wheel and quietly said, "Ms. Laurent, are you actually treating me as your chauffeur?"

Eloise was flipping through some documents. Upon hearing his words, she didn't look up. She simply said, "I need to review these documents!"

Harvey frowned. "Why do women need to earn so much money?"

Eloise chuckled. "This is what my 'husband' left for me, so of course, I have to cherish it!"

Harvey didn't speak anymore. Eloise irritated him.

Eloise continued to read her documents, completely unaffected by him, and

neither of them spoke for the rest of the ride.

They arrived at Horigan Mansion and as soon as the car stopped, Linda ran over. Her brown curls were bouncing adorably.

She held onto her mother's hand, and said with her voice sweet, "Mommy, you look so pretty!"

Eloise bent down to give the little one a kiss, then took Linda's hand and walked towards the mansion.

The winter sun was high in the sky.

She was wearing a camel coat, her hair was casually tied up, and she looked elegant and attractive. Especially from behind, her waist was incredibly slim. You wouldn't guess she had given birth to two children. She was so well-kept!

Ever since Harvey's return, he had been enjoying everything about Eloise. Her thoughtful care, their marriage, and her adoring gaze.

But when a woman suddenly stopped revolving around a man, he couldn't help but feel a bit lost. Especially as he still desired to share a bed with her.

Harvey didn't follow her in, instead, he stayed by the car and lit a cigarette. He was pondering about his relationship with Eloise, and starting to regret his words that day.

He shouldn't have said that Eloise was using him as a substitute, because now, she was openly treating him as such.

Harvey stubbed out his cigarette and was about to head in when Parker came out with Daniel. Seeing his son, he couldn't help but feel irritated. What a useless boy! If he hadn't upset his wife, would she be living here every day?

Parker chuckled, his laughter cold and refined. "I thought, you could hold out! So, you finally decided to come back and see your wife and child? Isn't that pretty face at your office enough for you?"

Harvey, lost for words, forced a bitter smile. "Dad, it's not like that!"

Parker's gaze was dark. "Let me tell you, if you dare to cheat mentally, Eloise could castrate you! I don't really care, after all, I already have my lovely grandchildren! You... do as you please!"

Harvey frowned. "I don't mean that!"

"Better not!"

Parker saw that there was no more sunshine in the area, so he took Daniel to another spot to soak in the sun. The doctor said he needed to get more sun.

Throughout the night, Harvey hardly saw Eloise. He didn't want to seem too eager, so he didn't go to her until it was almost bedtime. He then gently pushed open the door to the children's room.

Linda and Darrien shared a room. Darrien was asleep and his little face looked warm and peaceful. Linda was taking a bath in the bathroom.

Eloise had just finished feeding the baby. She hadn't pulled down her wool dress yet when Harvey entered.

The atmosphere became tense.

Harvey walked over, and softly asked, "Does the other side feel uncomfortable?"

Eloise showed no expression. "I'll pump it later for Darrien to drink in the morning!"

"I can help you!"

Eloise thought he was quite shameless. She was giving him the silent treatment,

but he didn't seem to want to miss out on any sexual moments with her.

He didn't want to invest emotionally; he just wanted to sleep with her.

Eloise listened to the sounds in the bathroom, knowing that Linda wouldn't be out anytime soon. She then wrapped her arms around Harvey's neck, and her breath was as sweet as roses. "Are you hard?"

Harvey's handsome face showed a hint of desire. He held her waist, pulling her closer as he murmured, "With all the exercising and skin care, Mrs. Horigan, are you telling me you're not trying to seduce me?"

Eloise kissed him. She didn't give herself fully to him, instead, she teased him with shallow and deep kisses. When he was desperate for more, she leaned on his shoulder and chuckled softly. "I'm preparing for a second marriage. A woman needs to maintain her good condition to find a better man."

She extended a slender finger and traced his high bridge nose, moving up and down.

Eloise was soft and tender. "After all, I have two children. If I can't capture a man's heart, life won't be easy! Harvey... teach me how to capture a man's heart?"

As she spoke, her delicate fingers gently touched his chest, slowly caressing. "Like this?"

Harvey broke into a cold sweat. His voice was hoarse, "Where did you learn this, Mrs. Horigan?"

Eloise suddenly pushed him away, began buttoning her dress tightly, then flicked her long brown curls and smiled. "From my husband!"

Harvey was infuriated, but he had to admit, Eloise had successfully roused his desire.

At this moment, there was a sound from the bathroom. Linda had finished bathing.

Eloise adjusted her dress properly, and said seriously, "Harvey, until you respect our marriage, I won't share a bed with you."

Just as she finished speaking, Linda came out. Her small body was bare and wet. Eloise picked up a large towel and wrapped it around Linda's small body. Her face was gentle.

She dried Linda's body and helped her put on her pajamas, then dimmed the lights in the children's room, and sat down to read a fairy tale. But Linda was more interested in the smell of Eloise. The little one's face nuzzled against her; usually, Eloise would offer him some milk, but Harvey was there, so she gently patted the little girl.

Slowly, Linda fell asleep.

Harvey came over, bent down to kiss Linda, and grumbled a little, "Do you sleep here every night?"

The light was dim.

Eloise looked at him. Her voice was steady as she calmly said, "Where you were sleeping before, I never asked, Harvey... But I hope you're willing to deal with Monika on your own, otherwise, I will take matters into my own hands."

Harvey sauntered over to the edge of the bed.

Eloise was warm, soft, and alluring. He had to admit, just like any man who'd been bewitched, he'd be more than willing to pluck the stars and the moon from the sky for her now...
