Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

Chapter 857

"We're pouring our hearts and souls into the party preparation. Yvie will definitely love this." Sean and the other Murray brothers wore expressions filled with

anticipation. All of them were imagining the joy and exhilaration on Yvette's face when she saw all of this.

"Mr. Quinn." Samuel walked over to Wilson and lowered his voice as he reported the news Apollo just informed him.

Wilson's handsome face darkened when he heard that Yvette followed the group of men into their car. He exuded blood-chilling air as he contemplated this.

Wilson was aware of Yvette's fighting prowess, and he knew very clearly that those thugs stood no chance of hurting her. However, that didn't mean he wouldn't feel worried when he heard about her stepping into danger.

"Tell Apollo to ensure that no harm comes to Yvie," he instructed.

Samuel immediately nodded and said, "Understood, Mr. Quinn."

"DY Organization..." Wilson murmured. His tone was calm but laced with malice. These nameless thugs had the gall to raise their fists against Yvette. They would soon receive their just desserts for that.

"What's the matter? What happened to Yvie?" Jacob asked. He could sense that something was off.

Wilson had always remained calm and collected in the face of everything, except when it came to Yvette. He composed himself and resumed his usual coolness, making it hard for people to decipher his emotions.

Just then, he saw Jacob approach with concern etched across his face. Wilson said, "It's not a big deal. Don't worry about it, Jacob. I'll handle it."

Yvette didn't want the Murrays to worry. That was why she typically didn't tell them about this kind of stuff. She would surely be angry if Jacob learned about these things from Wilson.

Meanwhile, Jacob decisively dropped the topic altogether. He believed that Wilson would make sure Yvette was safe. After that, he redirected his thoughts into preparing the birthday surprise.

"Yvie's birthday is tomorrow. We must make sure everything is in place before then."

Yvette's class at Jubilife University came to an end. The moment she left campus grounds, she saw a familiar Maybach parked to the side. However, she couldn't resist frowning when she saw Samuel coming out of the vehicle.

"Mr. Quinn is unfortunately busy today, Ms. Yvette. Thus, he sent me to pick you

up from the university." Samuel could sense her low spirits, so he immediately explained the situation.

"Well, it can't 't be helped." Yvette wore

a blank expression on her delicate face. Clearly, she wasn't pleased. She was used to Wilson keeping her company every day. However, She couldn't even see him for the past few days, let alone stay by his side. noveldrama

Samuel instantly broke out in a cold sweat when he heard what she said. He had no choice but to chuckle dryly and said, "Mr. Quinn is only

busy for the time being, Ms. Yvette. He'll be done in a few days.

Yvette pursed her lips and didn't say anything further. That was when Samuel received a phone call.

The person on the other end began, "Mr. Jackson, Victoria insists on seeing Mr. Quinn again. How should we handle "

Before the person could finish his sentence, Samuel interrupted him and said, "Tell her to give up on the notion. Mr. Quinn will never see her again."

Samuel was about to hang up after saying what he needed to. However, Yvette stopped him. "Hang on."

"Is there anything you need, Ms. Yvette?" Samuel looked at her, feeling puzzled. Yvette said nonchalantly, "Take me to the dungeon. I'm going to meet Victoria." She wanted to find out why Victoria was making such a big fuss to meet Wilson

once more.
