Talented Heiress: A Rose With Thorns

Chapter 771

Yvette's expression grew even colder as her fingers tightened into a fist.

The identity of the faction behind DY Organization remained a mystery. Once she found out, she would make sure to eliminate both of them.

"We must evacuate this area at once!" Varian knew that the location was no longer secure. He barked orders to the guards, herding them into action to haul out the lab's most vital equipment. He carefully hid a vial in his pocket.

Yvette, who was blending in with the guards, kept her attention focused on Varian. She noticed every little thing he did.

"Step on it, everyone! We're running out of time!"

While transporting equipment with the rest of the guards, Yvette slipped on a tile. She was falling-against Varian.noveldrama

"Ouch!" Varian was knocked off balance and fell to the ground, landing heavily on his backside. He let out a pained cry.

"Sorry, Dr. Morgrath..."

Yvette pretended to be frightened and quickly reached out to help him up.

"Get out of my way, you clumsy fool!"

Varian's face was twisted in anger. He pushed Yvette away, struggling to get to his feet, all the while muttering curses.

At that moment, a delicate hand slipped into his pocket and snatched the drug vial. Her movement was so swift that he didn't even notice.

Varian and his team evacuated the location quickly. Within 20 minutes, they had all left the building.

"Ms. Murray, why did you let them go?" Miguel asked, looking puzzled as he watched DY Organization's cars drive away.

Wasn't Yvette here to wipe them out? So why did she let them escape?

Yvette's face was expressionless as she played with the vial in her hand. "I've learned something new. There's a bigger player involved with DY Organization. I'm determined to uncover their identity."

The force behind them had to be formidable since they did not fear the Dark Organization.

The only way to find out who was backing DY Organization was to use them as bait to lure out their backer. Destroying them today would

temporary victory. Tomorrowla

another faction would rise, perpetuating the same horrific experiments on infants and children.

"Oh, so there's another group behind DY Organization?" Miguel's eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly understood Yvette's reasoning.

The only way to stop these inhumane experiments was to cut off the root of the problem.

"Ms. Murray, what should we do with this DY Organization's underground lab?"

Yvette's voice was cold and detached. "Blow it up."

The underground lab posed an ongoing threat. She needed to demolish it to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

Yvette didn't want to see any more innocent children being used as test subjects.

Miguel promptly assented with due respect. "Yes, Ms. Murray."

Her beautiful, fox-like eyes narrowed as she tapped a scarlet dot on the map.

"The Shadow Alliance's arms factory is located just south of here. I'm

about to penetrate their factory's system. Once I do, you can detonate both Shadow Alliance's arm@factory and DY Organization's lab

Yvette's words were casual, but they sent a chill down Miguel's spine. He silently gave her a thumbs-up.

Blowing up the Shadow Alliance's arms factory on their turf was reckless. That

was the kind of crazy thing his president would do.

...

In Jubilife, Wilson's eyes were fixed

on the phone. Seeing the unread message, he felt a weight settle in his chest. His captivating eyes reflected his growing anxiety.

Yvette wasn't answering her phone, and she hadn't responded to his message. What if something had happened to her?

Samuel burst into the room, looking flustered. "Mr. Quinn, we have a situation. Shadow Alliance's arms factory has been hit in an explosion."

Wilson's expression darkened even further. He was already worried about not being able to contact Yvette. Now, this news added to his concerns.
