Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Mia: "Dad, don't worry. I'm not even going near alcohol."

She wasn't planning on making a fool of herself on a global scale.

As they got out of the car, Mia was about to lift her dress, but Andre was there first, opening the door and scooping her up in a bridal carry.

People passing by couldn't help but turn their heads. "Is that Andre?"

"The Hernandez family really went all out, getting Andre to attend. Are they teaming up with the Cedillo Group?"

"Who's that stunning woman Andre's carrying? Never seen her before."

"Me neither. She looks too young to be his wife. I heard Hansen's around today; could she be Andre's sister?"

Mia caught the murmurs and wrapped her arms around Andre's neck, planting a kiss on his cheek for all to see. Loudly enough for everyone to hear, she chimed, "Honey, put me down. I love you."

Andre, recalling his romantic vow to his young wife, replied, "I love you too."

He knew Mia was feeling a bit jealous. Despite knowing he was married, people guessed she was his sister because of her youthful looks. As if marrying a younger woman was unheard of! Besides, who carries their sister like that? Even for a real sister, that would be crossing a line.

The crowd fell silent. That was Mrs. Cedillo, the elusive Mrs. Cedillo! Until today, she had never made a public appearance.

After setting down his petite wife, Andre turned his attention to their little bundle of joy.

Henry stood at the car door, tiny arms reaching up, "Daddy, up!"

Andre didn't move. "Come on, big guy, you can do it yourself."

The crowd was taken aback. Carry his wife but not his son?

Henry's face crumpled, and he started to cry.

Mia, exasperated, nudged Andre. "He's barely over a year old. How's he supposed to jump down? If you won't carry him, I will."

"Absolutely, such a precious kid."

Hearing the admiration, Andre couldn't help but smile. What parent doesn't love hearing nice things about their child?

Hansen was equally proud; his grandson was the cutest in the universe.

Halfway to the reception hall,

Henry's curiosity got the better of him. He was mesmerized by the sparkling earrings his mom wote.

A minute later, in the courtyard, Henry was in tears in his dad's arms, sobbing quietly.

Mia rubbed her reddened ear. "Honey, remember what your mom said about not hitting our kid. There are so many people here, let's not have him crying."

Once Henry was calmed down, they headed into the reception hall together.

"Hansen, it's so good to finally have you here," greeted an elderly gentleman in a bright red suit, welcoming them warmly.

Looking at the family, he said, "Andre, I take it this lovely lady is Mrs. Cedillo?"

Andre nodded, glancing fondly at Mia. "My beautiful wife, Mia." Then, looking at the little one in his arms, "And our son, Henry."

Next to the old man stood a young couple. From their attire, Mia
