She's out of Your League Now (Millie and Winston)

League 448

League 448

Millie had seen her fair share of the public display of affection. between Joanna and Winston from the inte. There was no need to call her to the villa for it.

She asked Winston, "Why exactly did you ask to meet?"

Winston had wanted to discuss with Millie her unspoken words from last night, but he felt awkward to do so in Joanna's presence.

He had wanted to gift the butterfly necklace to Millie, but it was now hanging on Joanna's neck.

A look of irritation flashed across his face. He was a decisive leader in business, but why couldn't he handle his relationships and marriage? Millie received a call on her phone from an unknown caller. She turned away to answer the call.

When she heard the caller's words, she looked up.

Sean said to her, "It's me. You-"

"I told you it was not a big deal. Don't mention it."

Then, she asserted, "It's really fine. I have something going on tonight-I need to be at a party. Let's meet again if we have the chance." "Alright. See you." She hung up and checked the time. It was nearly 4:00 pm.

She looked to Joanna and Winston, knowing that she had no time for lengthy discussions with them. It was her fault anyway;

Winston had wanted to meet her at 11:00 am, but she was tardy.

"Bye." With that, Millie left the villa without looking back.

Winston took a step forward to see Millie out. Noticing that,

Joanna quickly pretended she had twisted her ankle and fell into his arms. "Ouch. Win..."Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

She did so to make Winston stay, and she succeeded.

When Millie turned to look back, she saw Winston assisting Joanna to sit on the couch. The scene gave her mixed feelings.

In the past, her heart would ache from the sight of their intimacy, but now, she felt a little bitter but mostly numb about it.

After she left the villa, she took a deep look at the place and let out a wry chuckle. She probably would never set foot in this place again.

Winston stared at Millie's car with complicated feelings. He

asked Joanna with an accusatory tone, "Why did you put on the necklace? I never said it was for you."

He'd placed the necklace on the

coffee table in a hurry to attend the urgent meeting. Since Millie would show up later, he assumed she'd know the necklace was for her.

Never had he thought that Joanna would put on the necklace.

She stared at him. "Who did you plan to give it to? Millie?"

In reality, she could tell that the butterfly necklace was for Millie,

who loved butterflies. If so, she

wanted to spite Millie by laying claim to Millie's favorite butterfly necklace.

She wanted Millie to lose everything. Winston addressed Joanna in an icy tone, “Joanna, I don't like you touching my stuff without my permission."

He stood up from the couch. She shot him a knowing look. " Winston, you're my fiancé now."

"That still doesn't excuse you from touching my stuff as you like!" He sounded fierce and threatening, which shut her up.

She glowered at him silently and bit her lips. At the same time, his behavior strengthened her resolve to get rid of Millie.

Millie needed to die! Joanna couldn't

risk keeping Millie around in case Millie exposed her lie about saving Winston's life. She couldn't risk

Winston returning to Millie &

side.

е

"Win, are you really ready to be with me?" she questioned Winston in a tearful voice.
