Chapter 116
The man spoke firmly and righteously. His expression did not give away any sign of ill intention. "Let Monica in."
Jessica frowned and thought, "He's helping me?"
She was not used to it.
Trevor didn't say anything as he helped her down from the bed and out of the master bedroom.
Jessica stopped in her tracks right outside the restroom.
"Trevor, you should consider other people's feelings."
Seeing that he had no intention of letting go, Jessica was anxious.
Trevor's lips perked up instantly upon hearing those words.
He had looked forward to her calling him 'Trevor' for so long. The day had finally arrived.
Jessica realized that in her brief moment of panic, she
addressed him by his casual name. She quickly corrected herself. "Mr. Gulliford... I'm really not used to it."
"Monica."
Irevor turned his head and called for Monica, who then walked over.
"Yes, Mr. Gulliford?"
"Help her go to the toilet."
Trevor let go of Jessica's hand as the smile on his face grew wider.
Standing at the door, he watched as Jessica was escorted in until the door was closed behind them.
He then said gently, "Be careful with your wound."
Jessica felt helpless that he had to stand guard outside even when she was doing something so simple. It made her feel very awkward.
"Mr. Gulliford is very worried about you," Monica said with a smile.
Monica had been in the Gulliford residence for almost three years and had never seen a girl stay over.
"Thank you for helping me, Monica," Jessica said with a frown, not directly answering to her words.
Trevor being so nice to her all of a sudden was something she never saw coming.
Monica then carefully supported Jessica out of the restroom. Trevor, who was waiting outside, wasted no time to raise his hand and help Jessica too.
A few housekeepers who were cleaning the rooms were stunned silly when they saw this. "Based on the way she looks and how the
Gullifords are treating her, this
woman seems to be the this net

"Does the Gulliford residence need another lady of the house?"
After Jessica was escorted to the room, Monica gave her a wink and retreated.
"What do you feel like eating? Or, do you want to watch something?" Trevor, who was sitting on the bed, asked thoughtfully.
"Mr. Gulliford, I don't need anything. I just want to rest for a while." Jessica shook her head and replied.
"All right. Have a good rest."
Trevor remained unmoved as he fixed his eyes on her.
The room fell into silence. As their eyes met, Jessica's frown deepened.
Eventually, Jessica gave in to him and asked, "Mr. Gulliford, I want to rest for a while. Can you go out?"
"Go ahead and rest. I won't bother you. I'll just sit here and watch you sleep," said Trevor gently with a smile on his face.
"I won't be able to sleep with you watching."
Jessica was baffled and thought, "This man is so clingy!"
"Then, I'll go sit at my desk. I won't watch you. Go sleep."
Trevor turned around and went to sit in front of his computer. He flipped open his notebook and pretended to be busy.
Jessica turned her back toward him, then slowly let her eyes close.
She was exhausted. All she wanted was a good rest.
Sometime later, Trevor could hear the sound of her steady breathing He carefully tiptoed over to the bedside. Out of fear that he would make noise, he dared not even move.
Looking at Jessica deep in her sleep, Trevor felt warm in his heart. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
His eyes narrowed as a bright smile lit up his face.
For three years, he had been thinking of how to escape this life. Only after seeing this woman for a short moment did he feel a sense of nostalgia.
A gentle breeze blew in the room through the open window and messed up Jessica's loose hair.
