Chapter 1592
After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Sergio turned his attention to the neighboring table, continuing with his rounds of greetings and toasts.
As the wedding banquet drew to a close, guests began bidding their farewells, gradually trickling out of the venue one by one.
Noticing that Sabrina was restless to leave, Tyrone said in a low voice, “You can head out now. I’ll see them off, and then I’ll catch up with Leroy later.”
“Then I’ll leave now.”
“Okay.”
After saying goodbye to Wanda and Lena, Sabrina made her exit.
Meanwhile, Kira, noting Sabrina’s departure, subtly signaled to a waiter nearby.
Stepping out of the wedding hall, Sabrina made her way toward the elevator.
Suddenly, a waiter emerged from the hall carrying a stack of empty plates, colliding with Sabrina in the process.
Crash! The plates tumbled out of the waiter’s hands and shattered into pieces. Sharp porcelain shards scattered across the floor.
Sabrina was caught off guard, stumbled backward, and fell, landing on the ground. Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.
Rushing to her aid, the waiter helped Sabrina to her feet, inquiring apologetically, “Miss, are you alright?”
“Ouch…” Sabrina winced slightly, taking a deep breath to steady herself. It didn’t hurt. Though she wasn’t in pain, there were many shards of porcelain scattered around her on the ground. She was wearing a dress, and her arms and legs were slightly injured.
“What are you doing?” Sabrina’s voice was tinged with frost as she confronted the waiter, leaning against the wall.
Lowering his gaze in contrition, the waiter offered an apology, “Sorry, I’m so sorry. Would you like to go to the hospital? I’ll cover all your medical expenses!”
“Just watch where you’re going from now on!” Without making things difficult for the waiter, Sabrina reprimanded him sternly before turning to leave.
“Of course. I apologize once again, lovely lady. You’re truly kind- hearted!” The waiter apologized sincerely.
As Sabrina departed, the waiter knelt down to clean up the shattered porcelain, diligently picking up the pieces.
No one noticed that the broken pieces stained with Sabrina’s blood had been slid into the waiter’s pocket with a bottle covering them.
Upon receiving a message, Kira rose from her seat, placing her handbag on the table. “Could you hold onto my handbag for me? I need to use the restroom.”
Her words seemed directed at those around her, although they could have been meant for Tyrone alone.
Kira exited the wedding hall with quiet purpose, heading toward the nearby firefighting access point.
Awaiting Kira there, in the shadows, was the waiter. He promptly handed her a sealed glass bottle containing a few broken pieces stained with Sabrina’s blood.
“Are you certain this is her blood?”
