In the city, the buzz was all about the high-profile lawsuit filed by two of the most powerful families around, the Rowlands and the McCoys, against their own grandson, Morris. This drama had the gossip mill working overtime, with everyone convinced that Morris was a thankless troublemaker. I mean, seriously, who manages to get on both their mom and dad's bad sides? That's some next-level villainy right there.

When Nathalie stumbled across the rumors online, she was fuming. "Who spilled the beans? They're clearly using this to smear my Nathan's name. With such nasty intentions, who'd even think of helping him? It's downright disgusting."

She eyed the freshly made gown laid out on the table with worry. Sarah's all about her image, and right now, she'd probably cross the street to avoid Nathan. Would she even consider accepting this gift?

After racking her brains, Nathalie hit on a genius plan. "Lizzy, could you grab me the needle and some of that colorful thread?"

Lizzy dashed off to fetch the sewing kit, then perched nearby, watching her sister work with admiration.

"Wow, sis, it's been ages since you last sewed something, hasn't it?"

Nathalie nodded, "Yeah, after your master left, I was in a bit of a funk. I'm pulling myself together now, and fingers crossed, I haven't lost my touch."

She carefully embroidered a big half-circle diamond ring design on the gown's waist, with a pink diamond surrounded by tiny stars. And right in the center, she stitched the names Sarah and Scottie with skillful precision.

Lizzy was blown away. "Sis, this is amazing. Sarah will know right away how much thought you put into this."

Once she was done, Nathalie folded the gown and placed it in a beautifully crafted package. She then gave Lizzy a meaningful look. "Lizzy, see if you can set up a meeting with Sarah for me. Tell her it's time to settle our little bet. I'll text you the details later."

Lizzy nodded dutifully. "Got it, sis."

With Lizzy off on her mission, Nathalie got ready to head out too.
