Chapter 28: She Smells Good
Chapter 28: She Smells Good
Although he did not get to work in the studio today as he had hoped, he was enlightened and it was
well worth the trip.
"However, although your work mostly borrows from others, the style is precious and steady, without
some radical and risky elements, which is also desirable. Would you like to come to Lillian Studio and
contribute to us?"
When Leanne Mo's words came out, Miller was a bit surprised. Didn't Leanne particularly dislike this
kind of design that could see the shadow of other works? Why did she still choose to accept Mike?
And Vinson Gu, sitting on the right, was calmly sipping water, and the next second, his face was a little
off. This Leanne, really owes it.
When Lillian's studio first opened, it really needed two or three designers in this style, and Mike's
credentials were solid, just a momentary lapse into misunderstanding. So it's no surprise to Vinson Gu
that she would choose to keep this guy.
"Leanne, you were great." Vinson Gu said with some gritted teeth as he neared Leanne Mo's earlobe in
between Mike's happy walk out the door clutching his notice.
The tone of his voice, for some reason, suddenly made her feel happy, and Leanne tried to keep the
corners of her mouth turned up to calm herself, but couldn't stop.
"The next one, named Martha, is a graduate student." When Miller gave her a brief introduction,
Leanne looked up and the image of a geeky man with glasses and thick bangs came into view. ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
It is reasonable to say that girls who study design are very concerned about their image, but this is the
first time she encountered this kind of unkempt designer.
By the time she met all those people who had come for interviews, it was after five o'clock in the
evening.
"Mr. Gu, the interview is over, do you want to go back?" She asked, bracing herself for exhaustion,
Miller excused herself to leave to pick up Daniel, so for the next few people, she finished the interview
with Vinson Gu.
During this period, Vinson Gu also gave her a lot of advice, which Leanne gladly accepted, but
immediately turned her face away, really faster than a book.
"You heartless woman, I have helped you so much, how about having a meal with me?" Although his
words were inquisitive, his tone was one of unquestionable certainty.
Feeling a little hungry too, Leanne Mo nodded in agreement, and now that the two were in a strange
relationship, she didn't mind dishing out a few meals to Vinson Gu.
The two then walked into a Chinese restaurant together and Leanne said with some surprise, "How did
you find this restaurant, the decor is simply divine."
There is naturally a reason why she can make such a compliment. Just as the two walked into the
restaurant, a lady of etiquette dressed in Chinese costume came to greet them, while the whole house
was charming with a strong Chinese style.
"This is the restaurant my mother wanted to open when she was alive, so I helped her make it happen."
Vinson Gu didn't say much, but Leanne clearly sensed his emotions.
"As expected of Gu boss, is capricious, the annual rent of this restaurant must be quite a lot, but
opened in such a busy location, people should also be quite ......" Leanne Mo some incoherent, just
want to change the topic away.
She's the worst at comforting people.
After all, Leanne Mo didn't really know what to say, saying I shouldn't bring up the subject when your
mother died? But how did she know that the restaurant was owned by Vinson Gu!
Leanne Mo twisted her fingers in a tangle, her complicated expression was seen by Vinson Gu, who
smiled slightly and said, "It's okay, I didn't put much thought into it. The decoration and planning of this
store was given to someone else."
"Hmm." She nodded and could only follow Vinson Gu to sit closer to one of the boxes. leanne Mo was
so focused on what she had just said that she didn't notice that the atmosphere around her had
changed slightly.
A hint of jasmine fragrance emanated from the antique box, which gave Leanne a sense of
refreshment, and she raised her head slightly and said, "This spice smells so good ......"
Hearing these words, Vinson Gu's expression then had a little relief, he slightly turned the trigger finger
on his thumb, but there were a few moments of planning and then moving, just then, four waiters
opened the door and had set the table full of dishes.
Although the two were sitting in a separate booth, there wasn't much room. There was even a single
sofa behind the table. Leanne climbed up somewhat dizzily and threw herself headfirst into the blanket,
a small hamster coming alive and adorable.
"Aren't you going to dinner?" A few hints of interest swept through Vinson Gu's eyes, but they were
quickly suppressed by him. The man's voice was so full of oppression that Leanne Mo on the sofa
trembled a little.
"You can eat, I'm suddenly a little sleepy." Vinson Gu's hand with chopsticks gave a beat, and his eyes
slowly moved to the sofa.
Leanne was seen lying on her side on a furry blanket, showing two long white legs. Her face was half
wrapped in a pillow. Seeing this scene, Vinson Gu, however, no longer had the heart to eat.
He even began to regret a little why he had to make things difficult for himself. The man put down his
cutlery and walked a little towards Leanne Mo with oppressive footsteps, while she was oblivious.
"Mmmm ......" Vinson Gu's large hands teased her a little and Leanne Mo screamed with some difficulty
as she slowly opened her eyes only to find herself pinned underneath him!
"You let go of me, Vinson Gu!" she tried her best to clear her head, but still felt weak all over. leanne
Mo then realized that this man must have drugged the bottle of jasmine spice.
Thinking about it, she couldn't help but start complaining about her carelessness; she didn't even notice
such things.
Leanne Mo's cheeks quickly turned pink, her breathing becoming heavier as she was tortured by him.
"There will be no outsiders to disturb this time." Vinson Gu slowly undresses both of them, and they are
soon tangled together on the couch, causing the temperature in the air to rise.
"You bastard ...... ah, let go of me, I want to go back ...... home." Leanne Mo could not easily utter a
complete sentence, but was directly knocked back by a light laugh from him, and she could only stay
obediently under the man, waiting for him to finish surrendering.
Finally, with a low growl from Vinson Gu, she stood up from under him. leanne Mo's hair was
disheveled and she looked at the clock on the wall, only to realize that a surprising hour had passed.
Vinson Gu looked at her back and couldn't help but have a few shady looks on his face.
Was she that annoying to him?
