Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 255

Nadine found the situation almost laughable.

Brad couldn't even bring himself to say "I'm sorry", and yet he claimed to have apologized. What kind of apology was this?

Not only was there a complete lack of sincerity, but there was also an air of condescension in his tone. What was supposed to be an apology felt more like a charity gesture.

What she hated most was his high-handed attitude.

If it weren't for the fact that she couldn't beat him, she would have given him a good beating by now.

Brad scoffed at the anger in Nadine's eyes. His disdain was evident as he clicked his tongue. "The pride of the poor is always so absurd. Gifts are a sign of sincerity! Take it or leave it!"

If this kept up, Nadine would surely drive him insane. To prevent himself from killing her, he decided to leave for a while before he really did snap.

Ignoring Nadine's glare, he shoved the gift box into her arms without even looking at her. After that, he turned and walked away.

No matter how much she called after him, he didn't stop.

Only after Brad's figure disappeared around the corner did Nadine mutter a curse under her breath.

Fuming, she picked up the exquisitely wrapped gift box. "Who cares about your stupid gift?"

She hadn't intended to look at what was inside, but a casual glance revealed something alarming. The set of jewelry was strikingly similar to the one Jean had shown on Instagram.

It wasn't an exact match, but it was at least 99% similar.

Fearing she might be unfairly accusing Brad, she quickly found the Instagram photo of Jean's jewelry.

After she compared the two, any trace of her previous disdain and sarcasm vanished.

Brad really knew how to placate a woman, didn't he? He had sent Jean and her the same jewelry set. Did he not worry about getting caught?

Initially, she had thought Brad's gifts were probably very expensive. Now, however, the thought of it just made her sick.

Without hesitation, she took off the emerald bangle from her wrist and placed it in the gift box. Turning around, she handed it to the bodyguard standing nearby Here, it's a gift."

The bodyguard looked at the jewelry with wide eyes. His face paled in shock. "Are

you sure, Ms. Scott? Mr. Hamilton might have me killed."

Nadine waved her hand dismissively. "I said it's a gift. If Brad asks, you can tell

him exactly that."

With that, she strutted away in her three-inch-high boots.

Adam's condition was stable. Duringnoveldrama

this period, he had regained consciousness and told Travis, "Send them all home. I'm not in the mood to see them today. Let them

come back in a few days when I'm feeling better."

Travis conveyed Adam's message to everyone.

Worried about Adam, Nadine didn't want to leave and went into the ward.

Travis, concerned that Brad might,

be

Sought him out and

informed him of the situation. He

also reminded him to take good care

of Sean.

Brad, who had no experience with children, promised to do so. He then took Sean

and headed back to Phoenix Villa.

As soon as they arrived at Phoenix Villa, Sean's tutor, Eleanor Carr, came to take Sean away.

Eleanor greeted Brad warmly and began to lead Sean to his room.

Brad stopped her. "Why are you taking him to his room?"
