Chapter 99
Chapter 99:
Khloe remained unshaken, her gaze sweeping over the bodyguards with a calm that sent a chill down their spines. “Do you really think you can intimidate me?”
The bodyguards, thrown off by her confident stance, paused, their movements faltering in hesitation.
Seeing the bodyguards hesitate, Gwyn screamed in frustration, “What are you waiting for? Do something and get her!”
The bodyguards, now more determined, moved towards Khloe once again.
Khloe, with lightning reflexes, sidestepped the first guard’s attempt to grab her, spun around, and sent another guard crashing to the floor with a well-placed kick.
“Ah!” The guard let out a pained groan as he crumpled to the floor.
As the situation shifted against them, the other bodyguards lunged at Khloe.
She quickly maneuvered around them, her movements swift and calculated. Her punches and kicks landed with precision, a clear result of the extensive training she’d received during her time with Henrik.
Gone was the frail, unprepared woman who had stepped out of prison. She was now a force to be reckoned with. One by one, the bodyguards fell to the floor, unable to keep up with Khloe’s agility and strength.
Gwyn’s face turned a darker shade, realizing she had vastly underestimated Khloe’s abilities.
No matter the cost, Khloe had to be expelled today.
They had lost, but pride kept them from admitting defeat. To do so would be to accept that they were outmatched by Khloe.
“Use weapons…” Gwyn started to shout, but her words were drowned out by the loud wail of a police siren, echoing through the halls of the school.
Footsteps echoed in the hallway.

“Stop right there!”
A group of police officers entered. Their leader scanned the room with an air of authority. “We’ve received a report from Khloe Evans. Who is it?”
The sight of the police caused the students to freeze in fear, their legs trembling.
The police were actually here. Khloe had indeed reported them.
Gwyn turned pale, her voice quivering as she shouted, “Khloe, how could you call the police? Don’t you realize that if this gets out, you’ll be blacklisted by all the influential families?”
Gwyn’s words only heightened the sense of dread in the room. Some students began to cry, while others collapsed in despair.
Gwyn wasn’t mistaken.
Three years ago, a law had been introduced when the new president took office. It imposed severe consequences for both defamation and bullying. If proven, offenders would face imprisonment and a criminal record. Since then, an unspoken rule had developed among the elite to keep private disputes from escalating to the point of involving the authorities.
Anyone who broke that rule was deemed an enemy.
But Khloe wasn’t concerned about this rule.
“You’ve all made it clear. I’m a nobody, disowned by the Evans family. So why should I follow this absurd rule?” With each step, Khloe moved forward confidently, her presence unwavering as if carrying the weight of everything she had endured.
She spoke to the police with steady composure. “I’m the one who filed the report. The issue here is that they all bullied me. The primary offenders are Gwyn Cullen and Dorothy Mason. As for everyone else here…”
Her piercing gaze swept the room, cold and unflinching, as if she could see into their very souls.
