Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

Never 385

Later, Linda almost died in a fire.

When William found out, he realized just how terribly wrong he had been all along. But at that point, revisiting the memories was pointless.

He had been living like one of the walking dead for years. Only seeing Linda could make him feel alive again.

"William, you're such a jerk."

The injection had once again sent Linda into a deep sleep.

She encountered William in this dream, but it wasn't pleasant. She had once again prepared everything for him, just like old times. And he remained exactly as he had been.

She didn't want to dwell on the details. All she wanted was to live a good life with him.

It was another ordinary day. She knew Wilson Group was struggling with a contract they couldn't secure.

The CEO of the other company was a passionate art collector, particularly fond of this one famous painter's works. Linda understood that to win his help, she needed to offer something of value.

She had a genuine painting of said painter.

It was a birthday gift from an uncle- the only gift she had preserved over the years. She secretly entered William's office, retrieved the contract from the safe, and brought the painting to the CEO.

She presented the painting to him and managed to secure the contract with her persistent recommendations and assurances.

Ecstatic, she returned to the office, only to be accused by William of stealing company

secrets.

At that moment, she broke down.

From then on, she felt her affection for William wane. She recalled William's, "Linda, everything you do is wrong. You shouldn't even be here."

Wasn't it true that everything she did seemed wrong? Yet, she had enjoyed many advantages from it.

Linda was jolted awake, drenched in sweat from fear.

Lina was right next to her.

"The doctor said you'd wake up in the afternoon, but it's already evening. I didn't expect

you'd sleep so soundly."

She handed Linda a cup of water.

"My head hurts so much," Linda said. She was shocked as her voice became raspy and startlingly weak.NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

"Raspy voices are normal," Lina replied.

"I could barely speak when I had a cold before."

Linda drank half of the cup of water. "Where's Lexi?"

"Lexi's downstairs playing with Chloe."

"The both of them left, right?"

Lina nodded, smiling teasingly. "I noticed you really do have a bit of a 'charmer' vibe. Everyone seems to like you!

"Do you want to share this luck with me?"
