Ruth was even more astounded.

She knew for a fact that Mr. Zorion had never touched a book.

The servant was amused.

"Mr. Zorion, you really care about Miss Wei mart," the servant commented in a meaningful manner.

But Zorion didn't pick up on it.

By the door, Ruth's breath stopped, her heart felt as if it had suddenly been clenched by something.

In regards to her so-called 'husband', Zorion had not brought it up for quite some time.

She had assumed that he had forgotten about it.

It was entirely out of her expectations that he had actually kept it to heart.

For him to care for her so considerately, was also because he pitied her for not having her 'husband' and didn't want her to spend her days miserably all by her lonesome.

Ruth went teary-eyed.

Everyone thought that Mr. Zorion was a fool, that he was stupid. They assumed that he didn't know anything.
