Brielle called out, but there was no response from the phone. Her face fell. "Let's head over to Keiran's place."

When they arrived at Keiran's residence, Brielle rang the doorbell. No answer. With a quick nod, she signaled Addy to kick the door down.

The door flew open, releasing a wave of darkness from inside. Brielle hurried in, feeling along the wall for the light switch. When the lights flickered on, she saw Keiran sprawled on the floor. "King Keiran!"

She rushed over and helped him up. His eyes slowly opened, his face ghostly pale. "Who are you?"

Even with Brielle's patience, she was ready to scream. "I'm Brielle. You just called me. What are you doing on the floor? Did someone attack you?"

Keiran sat up slowly, cold sweat beading on his forehead from the pain. "I called you? Let me think about why."

Brielle was frantic, her instincts screaming that Keiran's distant cousin had to be Dustin. "Did Dustin send you an email asking you to call me? Was it something important?"

Keiran, rubbing his throbbing head, nodded. "Ah, yeah, I think so. Where's my laptop?"

The laptop that had been there before he blacked out was now missing. Brielle's heart sank, a wild idea crossing her mind. Dustin must have been desperate to send an email to Keiran.

Donny had mentioned that Keiran was an oddball, using an old flip phone that was often off. To contact him, you had to use email. With his severe face blindness, Dustin wouldn't email Keiran unless he had no other choice.

She even guessed that Dustin might've used someone else's email account; otherwise, that important email would have been sent to all his contacts. In utter desperation, he could only reach out to Keiran.

"Is your email the one your cousin set up for you?"

Keiran massaged his neck and frowned. "Yeah, I don't use those apps, and my phone's off most of the time. So my cousin gave me his old account. It's pretty convenient. Directors contact me through this email. I was looking to act lately, so I checked my email and saw my brother sent one two days ago. But it's weird; he never emails me."

Brielle's fingers tightened at her side as she swallowed hard. "What did he write?"

Keiran looked regretful. "I don't know. I was about to read it to you when this pain hit me. Maybe there was a burglar? My laptop's gone too."

Brielle wanted to knock some sense

into him. Watching him sit on the

couch, massaging his neck, she realized Keiran's world was too innocent. He never thought he might've been attacked.

She took a deep breath. "Can't remember a single word?"

"He asked me to contact you."

"And?"

Keiran squinted, shaking his head seriously. "That's all I read before the pain hit."

Brielle was so exasperated she nearly fainted. Seeing her about to cry, Keiran frowned. "What's your relationship with my brother? You're Brielle from Stellar Stage

Entertainment?"

He pondered a moment, then suddenly stood and bowed deeply. "Sis-in-law."

Brielle's headache intensified. If she hadn't kept her cool, she would've slapped him. Sis-in-law, my foot!

Fuming, she knew checking the surveillance now would be pointless. She strode out, Keiran touching his neck and hurrying after her.

"Hey, where are you going?"

Brielle stopped, took a deep breath. "Your brother wanted you to agree to do a movie for Stellar Stage Entertainment. You've seen the script, right?" "Ah? Okay, sis-in-law."

Keiran, surprisingly compliant when

it came to Dustin, agreed readily. Brielle's headache worsened, but she didn't bother to explain. Instead, she immediately contacted Donny to

take Keiran for a sc

Who would've thought it could be this easy to get him on board?
