Chapter 690 She Didn’t Know It
Chapter 690 She Didn’t Know It
When Alice went to work on Monday, she was surprised to see a group of people gathered at the gate
of her company. What was going on?
It was unusual to have so many people so early. There was no way her company had that many
clients.
If they had clients, they wouldn't be gathering here.
She got close and thought they were journalists.
What was going on?
Was there something wrong with her company?
Alice asked Kennedy’s driver to park nearby, and then called Yanis.
She came to the company late today, so someone should have been in the company by this time. She
wanted to ask what happened first.
As she was about to make a phone call, her phone rang.
It was Yanis calling.
She answered directly.
Before she said anything, Yanis said anxiously, “Alice, have you arrived in the company? Don't come if
you haven't arrived. There are a lot of journalists outside our company."
Alice, “......"
She pinched her red lips as she looked out at the crowd not far away.
"I'm near the office."
"Don’t come to the door of the company, there are too many journalists!"
"Why? What's the matter? Why so many journalists? Do you understand the situation?"
Yanis explained to her, “You don’t know it?"
Alice was confused, should she know about it? Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
"The whole country knows you now. You don’t know why there are many journalists at the door?"
Alice, “......"
This made Alice more puzzled. She asked with a frown, “What's wrong?"
Logically speaking, if her status as a designer was well known, it could not be so sensational. She was
not a celebrity.
Even if she was a celebrity, she could not be known by the whole nation.
So Alice was very confused.
"Damn it, how could you not know it... Let me ask you, didn't you notice anything different on the
street?"
Alice blinked her eyes. She was with Kennedy these two days and she slept in his arms. Plus last
night......
She coughed at thought of the night before, and her face flushed.
She was sleepy, so she leaned against the cushion and took a nap on the way here.
Alice stretched her head and looked around, at first, she did not see anything strange, then she saw a
familiar figure far away...
It was her picture... she took it when she was at a party after winning awards abroad.
Why was it on the street screen now?
Who was promoting her? Unfortunately, the distance was too far to see the above words, so Alice said,
“Baron, please reverse the car to that position."
She said to Baron, who was the driver Kennedy had hired for her and picked her up from H villa and
back.
Baron nodded and reversed to her designated place.
After the car stopped, Alice rolled down the window and carefully looked up. Alice finally saw the above
words and posters.
She looked at it for a while and blushed.
How did Kennedy do it without her permission?
Baron found that when he was driving, but he didn't bother her because she kept her eyes closed.
Now Baron could not help but smile, “Mr. Kennedy is thoughtful."
Alice, “......"
When Baron said this, she bit her lower lip.
He was, but he was scheming. He did not tell her about it and she did not know it until now.
This man! Was he so proud to have a successful proposal?
Alice angrily made a call to Kennedy.
Kennedy answered the phone in a gentle voice.
"You miss me?"
"No!” Alice scolded him directly, "What's the matter with the poster?"
Kennedy chuckled and then asked, “Are you satisfied?"
Alice, “... Satisfied with what?"
“I did it to tell the world that you are going to be Mrs. Moore, and now everyone knows that you're going
to marry me. You can’t escape now.”
Alice froze to hear that. Why did he say that? Did he think she would run away?
"You did this..." Alice lifted eyes to look at the poster and broadcast news, "Are you afraid I will run
away?"
After a moment's silence, Kennedy spoke softly.
"No."
"I am afraid you will run away, because I will chase you."
"This is my sincerity, I fell indebted to you, so I will make it up."
"Alice, this is my sincerity."
Alice felt her heartbeat was not normal. She heard it over the phone, but she still looked at Baron with
embarrassment.
She looked away, then lowered her voice.
"Now many journalists gathered at the door of my company, I can’t go in."
Kennedy could help but smile, “Good, they help you with your advertisement."
"Kennedy!”
Alice was angry. She could not go in her company for there were many people at the door, and he was
in a mood to make a joke.
"All right." Probably afraid of her anger, Kennedy said in a soft tone, coaxing her.
"Now it's just the beginning, so journalists want to interview you like crazy, but it will be good in a few
days. Ask Baron to drive your to my company."
Alice, “go to your company?"
"Well. Wouldn't it be nice to work in a different environment, with your future husband?"
Alice, “..."
She really believed Kennedy was a devil!
The bastard!
Alice gnashed her teeth and said, "Who wants to work with you? You wish!"
She was angry and directly hung up the phone.
Baron looked at this scene with a smile. Alice hung up the phone and thought of a very serious
problem. The journalists were best at collecting materials, since they could find her company, what
about Jack’s school?
God!
