Love You, Spoil You

Chapter 10 Accosted by Noah

Chapter 10 Accosted by Noah

This man was around twenty-eight years old, and he had an appealing flirty smile on his delicate face.

He raised his chin and winked at Charlotte.

"I can't believe Mr. Oliver is willing to leave such a beauty alone and socialize with others!" The man

smiled.

"Excuse me, who are you?" Frowning, Charlotte took a step back and kept a safe distance from him.

The man looked at her and smiled.

He had seen a lot of women like her. Everyone played cat and mouse with him, but in the end, they all

groaned under him on his bed. It was said that there was a woman in Oliver's house, and he didn't

expect that it was true.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself." The man smiled, took out his business card and handed it to her.

The card had a good texture. Charlotte looked down at it and saw his name, Noah Lin, the president of

some company.

Of course she had heard of this name, but she didn't know much about it. The Lin family was a big

family, and this young man wandered outside all year round, dating countless women.

"What do you think? Would you like a drink with me?" Raising his eyebrows, Noah took a glass of

champagne from a servant passing by and handed it to her.

Charlotte raised her head, and her smooth pale skin on her slender neck flashed under the light, which

made Noah stare straight at her.

After seeing so many beautiful women, Noah had concluded that one's temperament was the most

important. Today, this woman not only had amazing facial features, but also had a good temperament.

She didn't seem to be a member of their circle, and there was always coldness in her eyes. She was

just his type. And the most important reason, of course, was that... this woman walked in with Oliver.

"I don't need a drink. I have something else to do, so I'm leaving now. Goodbye." Charlotte didn't take

the glass and turned around, ready to leave.

But Noah stopped her by pulling her wrist.

Charlotte paused and turned to look at her wrist.

Noah was a little embarrassed. He let go of her hand and felt a little shocked by his own action. "I'm

sorry. I didn't notice what I was doing in such a hurry. Sorry to have touched you. We came here just for

eating, drinking and chatting. Why are you in a hurry to leave? Are you feeling uncomfortable because

of me?"

Noah thought she was a snobbish and charming woman at first, but now he could tell that she was not

interested in him at all.

But how could this woman seduce Oliver with such a bad attitude? He was a little curious about that. Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"Do you have anything else to say?" asked Charlotte indifferently.

The crowd began to look over and whispered about them.

Noah felt a little embarrassed as he noticed the eyes of the people around him. He walked a few steps

closer and smiled, "Beauty, do you have to be like this? I just want to make a friend. Are you always so

hostile to all the people with good intentions?"

"Not really." Charlotte smiled and looked sharply at Noah. "I'm always easy-going, but only when

people really have good intentions."

Noah almost choked as he heard her.

It turned out that she was not an empty vase but was smart and good at talking.

He took another step closer to Charlotte. Seeing that she didn't move, he got complacent and flirty

again.

"In fact, you don't have to be so vigilant. Nothing will happen if we drink together." He stretched out his

hand and gently pulled Charlotte again.

With her eyes darkened, Charlotte gritted her teeth to resist her impulse to smash her handbag at him,

and said in a low voice, "Let me go."

"Mr. Oliver has a good taste indeed." Noah touched Charlotte's soft and delicate skin and sighed.

He reached out his hand and wanted to touch her again, but his wrist was suddenly grabbed by

another man.

"Ah!" Noah cried out in pain and jerked his head.

Charlotte slowly put down her handbag. Fortunately, she didn't need to smash it at him now.

Behind her, Oliver stared at Noah with sharp eyes. A few seconds later, his assistant released Noah.

Noah's face changed a little. He suddenly held his right hand with his left hand and couldn't help crying

out.

His wrists... seemed to have been broken.

Charlotte glanced at his hand and was also stunned. She looked at Oliver's assistant in shock. This

assistant didn't talk much usually. Most of the time, he just dealt with some things on behalf of Oliver,

but she didn't expect that he was so strong. How much strength did it take to break a person's hand?

Charlotte touched her hand and felt lucky that Oliver had always been lenient to her.

"Mr. Noah, if you have so much free time, why don't you pay more attention to your company?" Oliver

smiled, walked over and glanced at Charlotte.

Charlotte immediately walked to Oliver and felt a big hand on her shoulder.

She lowered her eyes, and then heard a cold voice above her head again. "You'd better care less

about the people around me."

Charlotte's heart skipped a beat, and she followed Oliver to the door.

The crowd behind him suddenly became noisy. Noah began to cry out of pain, and people around him

hurriedly helped him up. Everything seemed to have nothing to do with Oliver.

Although Charlotte didn't do anything, she had a vague feeling that Oliver was in a bad mood and they

kept silent all the way.

When they arrived at the villa, she turned around and said, "I didn't flirt with him. He came to me first. I

don't think it's a shame for you, is it?"

Oliver was surprised that she cared about it, and he stared at her with his dark eyes.

"You told me not to lose face. If I promise you, I won't go back on my words." Charlotte felt a little

uncomfortable when he looked at her, so she raised her head and explained.

Oliver said nothing but opened the door and got out of the car.

Charlotte went upstairs tiredly. When she reached the last stair, she heard Oliver's assistant whispered

in the distance.

"Mr. Oliver... the Lin Group..."

She only caught a few words but didn't hear them clearly.

Charlotte immediately turned around and stepped closer, trying to hear them.

"And the Shao Group and Mr. Shao..."

No matter how hard she tried, only a few words came into her ears. But these words were important

enough.

What were they talking about? The Lin Group? Then why did they mention the Shao Group? And her

father?

The more she thought about it, the more suspicious she became.

She stood there and waited for a long time, but nothing else could be heard except for the occasional

breeze.

Charlotte turned around and walked into the room. She sat on the bed and thought for a long time.

Could it be that the Lin Group had something to do with her father's death? Otherwise, why did they

mention it? It was the only mystery now. There was no other possibility.

She gritted her teeth and went into the bathroom. After washing up, she went out of the room and went

downstairs.

It was dark downstairs. Oliver sat on the sofa without saying a word. Only in the dim light from the

kitchen could Charlotte see the figure.

"Oliver?" Charlotte called him with uncertainty.

Oliver looked up but didn't answer.

Frowning, Charlotte walked over and stood in front of him.

"I... I've got something I'd like to talk to you about," she said gently.

Oliver raised his eyebrows. "What do you want to do this time?"

"What do you mean 'this time'?" Charlotte was about to retort again, but she held it back and said, "No,

I... I was just wondering..." she hesitated.

"Say it," Oliver said.

Charlotte kept silent for a moment.

The darkness made her a little uneasy, but she felt much relieved without seeing Oliver's eyes directly.

"I want to work in your company." She finally opened her mouth.

Oliver seemed to be surprised.

What was this woman thinking all day long?

"No way," he said.

"Why?"

"Because I don't want it," Oliver answered briefly.

"I went to business school and I was an excellent student. I'm a perfect candidate!" Charlotte argued

strongly.

"No." Oliver didn't want to explain it anymore, so he simply said one word.

"Why not? I can help you. Why don't you do such a good deal?" Charlotte gritted her teeth and

continued, "I only need half of other people's salary."

"That would be even more strange." Oliver sneered.

Charlotte gritted her teeth, knowing that there was no chance, so she turned around and was about to

leave.

"There's one post you can consider about," Oliver suddenly said coldly behind her.

"What?" Charlotte's eyes lit up and turned around immediately.

Oliver stood up slowly and approached her.

Charlotte's whole body tightened. She raised her head and vigilantly watched him approaching her step

by step. His voice was soft and gentle.

"Assistant," he said.

"Whose?"

"Mine."

"No way!" She turned around and was about to leave.

Leaning against the wall, Oliver kept smiling and said in a calm voice, "To be a pet in this villa or to be

an assistant in the company? It's a simple choice."

Charlotte suddenly stopped, turned around and walked back. This time, her eyes were unwavering and

determined.

"I'll do it!"
