Love Of Wind And Clouds

Chapter 1

It’s pouring rain again. Nancy sat by the window looking out at the paved road fading in the water curtain. Many years have passed but her heart still hasn’t forgotten the past. The time spent with the man she loved created a dreamlike love story.

She is the daughter of a maid in Nathan’s family. Later, when her mother died, she stayed at his family’s house and continued to work. The original master-servant relationship gradually turned into pure love.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

The dream wedding seemed like it was about to happen but suddenly disappeared because on the day the two of them finished taking wedding photos, his mother met her privately.

Camila said the financial situation of the Southern company is not very positive, bank loans are due but there is no money to pay. The heiress of SN Group, Rosalind, also Nathan’s classmate, offered to help the company overcome difficult times but on the condition that she become his wife.

So, Nancy agreed to leave because she felt she owed them too much. Nathan’s mother was very kind to her mother and her, and her tuition was also paid for by his mother.

She knew it would be difficult for her to repay Camila’s kindness. Now that Camila had begged, she couldn’t shamelessly linger.

Winter passed, spring came, and seven years passed in the blink of an eye since the day she left that house that contained a sky of memories. The joy and pain seemed to have been buried over the years, but life likes to tease people, so it forced her to meet him again.

It was a winter afternoon, the weather was chilly with raindrops, and the sky was a gray color.

Over three years working at Global Group, Nancy comes home late almost every day, but today is an exception because she has moved to the group’s headquarters.

And tomorrow morning, she has to go to province C to arrange and choose scenes for the movie that is about to start filming.

Nancy looked up at the clock and realized it was already half past five in the afternoon and everyone had gone home a long time ago, so she quickly stood up to arrange documents. Her appearance was a bit tired but her movements were still quick.

The light purple umbrella had just opened when she heard a voice behind her.

“Can you let my friend share an umbrella and go to the parking lot? He is having a cold.”

Nancy turned to look at the two men, both wearing suits and looking tall. The person who had just spoken smiled and seemed friendly, while the person next to him had a cold face and deep eyes that looked even grayer than today’s sky.

Because she had a cold, her voice through the mask was a bit muffled.

“Okay.”

Dylan didn’t say a word, walked up, and stood under the umbrella. Nancy reflexively stood on tiptoe, raised the umbrella high, then turned to the man who had just talked to her and said.

“Come with us.”

The situation of a short girl standing between two tall men and holding an umbrella for them was too inappropriate for the situation. So Nancy immediately looked up at Dylan and spoke.

“Sir, the tallest person should stand in the middle and hold an umbrella so that no one gets wet.”

Dylan bent down and stared at her. Paul was startled when he heard that.

“It’s better if I hold it.”

“It’s okay.”

Dylan said as he reached out to take the umbrella. Although the umbrella is quite large, it cannot completely cover three adults lined up in a row.

Seeing that, Nancy quickly stepped forward so that the two people hitchhiking her umbrella wouldn’t get wet.

The path from the main door to the parking lot was not too far, but because they had to coordinate with each other to avoid trampling on each other, no one dared to go fast.

After a few minutes, they finally arrived.

“Thank you.” Paul bowed his head slightly and lowered his voice.

“Do not formal.”

Nancy received the umbrella from Dylan’s hand, replied softly, then turned and walked away.

After returning the umbrella, Dylan opened the car door and sat in, while his assistant quickly leaned forward to talk to Nancy.

“My name is Paul Allen.”

“Nancy Pelosi.”

She didn’t turn around, just raised her hand high, waved, raised her voice in response, and walked quickly to the gate.

Paul watched her slender figure disappear into the rain and he saw his boss’s figure also moving in that direction.

“Where will we go now, boss?”

Paul asked while wearing his seatbelt but didn’t hear anyone answer. Looking up in the rearview mirror, he didn’t see Dylan anywhere and when he turned around to look behind him, it was empty.

He was extremely surprised because he saw his boss get in the car first. Suddenly remembering what happened earlier, he panicked and realized he wasn’t mistaken, so he quickly drove to chase.

The rain is getting heavier and heavier. Dylan looked right and left, trying to find the girl covering the purple umbrella earlier.

Before his eyes were colorful umbrellas mixed. However, none of them were her.

Amidst the crowded traffic of late afternoon, he sighed helplessly in the rain, his face full of disappointment, and trudged back to Global Corporation.

The road was now gradually sparse, under the light of the street lamp, Nancy reached out to catch the last bus. As soon as Dylan saw her, he suddenly woke up and rushed over.

The bus left the curb and ran straight. He chased after her and called out her name, the cry mixed with the sound of the rain sounded pitiful.

“Nancy, Nancy… stop for me, Nancy…”

Dylan cried until his voice was hoarse and he ran until his legs were weak. The scene from seven years ago appeared in his mind again, a mess appeared before his eyes and then faded, faded…
