Chapter 533

Chapter 533 What Exactly Are You Angry About?

"Savanna, are you done?"

After a long time, there was a knock on the door.

Savanna was shocked. She loosened her grip and the ring fell to the ground with the box.

"Savanna, did you hear me?”

Brandon knocked on the door urgently a few more times.

Savanna finally recovered from the shock and replied, "I'm fine, I'll be done soon."

"Then hurry up and come out. If you bathe for too long, you will lack oxygen."

The man's voice sounded behind the door. When Savanna heard such a caring voice, she felt it was ironic.

While he was so concerned about her, he bought a diamond ring for another woman.

He pretended to be so loving. Who exactly did he love?

Did he know who he really loved?

Savanna stood up, slowly picked up the ring, and put it into the cupboard in the bathroom.

She didn’t even deliberately hide it because she wanted Brandon to find it himself and take the initiative to give an explanation.

After doing this, she got up and opened the shower.

Hot water came down and washed away her tears.

After she washed her hair and went out, Brandon was already lying on the bed.

He was looking at his phone. His slender fingers were crazily tapping on the screen. It seemed that he was typing.

Seeing her come out, Brandon immediately put down his phone and opened his arms. "Honey, come here and sleep.”

Savanna walked to the bedside and was pulled over. "What are you doing?"

"I won't touch you today. Let's go to sleep." Brandon pulled her to his side. "I've warmed the quilt up for you. Go to sleep."

As he spoke, he leaned over and kissed Savanna's forehead.

"Honey, good night."

Feeling the gentleness that was no different from usual, Savanna felt bitter. She closed her eyes, which were filled with bitter tears. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Savanna kept her eyes closed, and her mind was filled with their sweet memories.

"Honey, honey, are you asleep?" The man's low voice sounded in her ears.

Savanna did not reply to him. She wanted to see what Brandon wanted to do. Would he sneak out to see that woman while she was sleeping?

However, he only kissed her on the cheek and then hugged her tightly. He turned over and fell asleep.

Hearing his even breathing above her head, Savanna slowly opened his eyes in the dark. Tears silently fell from her eyes.

Early the next morning, Savanna, who had not slept all night, opened her eyes early. Her eyes felt sour because she cried too much.

The man next to her was still sleeping. He turned over and subconsciously put his arm around her waist.

Savanna gently moved his arm away. Unexpectedly, as soon as she lifted his arm, Brandon opened his eyes. "Honey, where are you going?"

"I'm going downstairs to see if I can help Lizeth make breakfast," Savanna replied.

Brandon was like a spoiled child. He was strong, so he steadily put her down on the bed. "Sleep with me for a while longer."

Savanna did not fall asleep the entire night. Lying there was too torturous. She just wanted to get up and take a walk.

"Brandon, I don't want to sleep. I'm going to take a look at Roya."

"Roya hasn't woken up yet."

Savanna was determined, and Brandon was even more stubborn than her. They both didn't give in until the phone rang at the bedside.

Savanna had never checked his phone before, but because of the ring, her tone became very harsh.

"Let me get up! Your phone is ringing."

"It's not important," Brandon said, but he still let go of her.

Savanna got off the bed with a cold face and angrily walked out in her slippers.

The moment she closed the door, she heard him pick up the phone.

With a bang, she shut the door and leaned against the wall, feeling weak all over.

He said that it was not important, but he still answered the phone, didn't he?

Was it from that woman?

What would she say?

Would she ask him to go over and have a sweet time together?

Downstairs, the air was filled with the fragrance of breakfast. Lizeth had cooked breakfast.

She was preparing the tableware. When she looked up, she saw Savanna.

"Ms. Thompson, you woke up."

Savanna nodded and asked, "Is there anything I can do for you?"

Lizeth wiped her hands with an apron. "No, I've prepared everything. I've cooked your favorite shrimp oatmeal."

Savanna looked at the oatmeal, but she had no appetite at all. Her heart was full of bitterness.

Lizeth handed over a bowl of oatmeal. "Hurry up and drink it while it's hot. It took me a long time. It must be fresh and delicious."

Savanna sat down with a spoon in her hand, but she had no intention of drinking it. She was staring at the oatmeal in a daze.

Ms. Thompson, aren’t you going to drink it?" Lizeth asked worriedly.

"It's a little too hot." Savanna found an excuse.

"Where's Mr. Cassel? Is he not up yet?" Lizeth quickly got another bowl.

Savanna heard it, and the light in her eyes dimmed. She said coldly, "He's on the phone."

Meanwhile, Brandon came down the stairs.

He walked over and grabbed a chair to sit next to Savanna. Just as he sat down, Savanna stood up.

"I'm done. You guys go ahead." With that, she hurried upstairs.

"Ms. Thompson, but you haven't taken a sip of your oatmeal yet." Lizeth was dumbfounded. She turned to ask Brandon, "Mr. Cassel, what's wrong with Ms. Thompson?"

Brandon stared at Savanna's back as she disappeared from the stairs. His expression also became heavy.

Since he woke up, he had felt that something was wrong with Savanna. He thought that she was in a bad mood, but he hadn't expected the situation to be so serious.

Brandon lost his appetite. He stood up and said, "I'll go check on her."

In the blink of an eye, everyone was gone. Lizeth looked at the oatmeal that she had cooked for two hours early in the morning. She didn't want them to fight.

After Brandon went up, as expected, he found Savanna in the baby's room. She was changing clothes for Roya.

Facing the child, she was not in such a bad mood anymore. Instead, she had a gentle smile on her face.

"You are so gentle to the child and so cold to me. Honey, did I offend you?"

When she heard his voice, her expression turned cold again. She helped Roya put on the last piece of clothing and picked up the child.

"Roya, be good. I will take you to the hospital for vaccines."

Brandon retreated to the door and blocked their way out.

Savanna, what exactly are you angry about?'
