She Lost Love, Gained a Fortune 134
Chapter 134 Last Warning
Lance Thornton pointed an accusing finger at Felicia. 'Mr Cavanaugh, your sister still owes me the final payment. But since things didn't work out, I don't dare to ask for it anymore. Can you just let me go?
The atmosphere grew noticeably colder.
'Shut it!' Felicia couldn't hold back her curse.
What a blind fool!
'Felicia, you shut it!' Micah yelled. "There's only one way-apologise to Darya in person!"
Norris, sensing there was about to be a shouting match between the siblings, dragged Lance out of the office.
'Why should I apologise?' Felicia was red in the face. "Things didn't go as planned, right? It's not like she suffered any loss.'
The online situation had backfired, causing trouble for Zenith instead of dragging Darya down.
That was already enough to leave Felicia dissatisfied.
'Why does Darya always have such good luck?' she grumbled.
Micah spoke in a low voice, 'You can choose not to go, but don't expect a single penny from the family ever
again.'
Felicia looked up at him, shock painting her face a ghostly white.
'Don't you dare use the Cavanaugh name to borrow money. I will inform everyone that you've been disowned.' Micah was perfectly calm as he delivered the threat.
His deep, impenetrable gaze held no warmth.
He was a man of his word.
It finally dawned on Felicia that he wasn't joking!
Trembling, she mustered up a voice heavy with grievances. 'Why? Why are you taking her side? Weren't you divorced? Weren't you planning to be with Regina?'
What made Darya so special?
Why should she be repeatedly humiliated because of that woman?
Micah's voice was frigid. 'Felicia, because you used such underhanded tactics to smear Darya's name, it caused the Zenith stocks to plummet. Billions of dollars of our market value evaporated within a few short hours. Why,
you ask?"
Felicia stood, stunned, unable to utter a word.

Billions evaporated?
She had only spent a few hundred thousand to pay off the tabloid reporters to create trouble for Darya.
'And furthermore, there's nothing between me and Regina. You better get your facts straight. She can never have any connection with the Cavanaugh family!"
Felicia stared at her brother, open-mouthed.
Could she have been wrong all along?
Her body remained rigid, her fear and trembling intensifying.
A sense of impending doom engulfed her.
Felicia's footsteps were weak as she walked out of the office, and her brain was buzzing
So, she had misunderstood it all along?
She had initially thought that Micah was on Regina's side.
Now, it seemed that Micah did not like Regina at all.
On the contrary, there was a hint of disgust when he mentioned her name.
Felicia did not understand what went on in her brother's head.
Now, she had to think carefully about what to do next.
In the hallway outside, Norris approached Felicia with her phone in hand. 'Miss
Cavanaugh, your father just
called. He's looking for you.'
Felicia froze for a moment.
Yes, her father.
He wouldn't abandon her, would he?
What did he say?' she asked hopefully.
'His exact words were, "Get over here within twenty minutes, or you'll be
permanently cut off from the Cavanaugh family.”
Felicia couldn't believe the mess she had gotten herself into with just a little act of rebellion.
Who would've thought it would cause such chaos for her brother's company?
To make matters worse, her arch-nemesis, the cunning and elusive Darya McAllister, emerged unscathed from
the whole ordeal.
It was as if fate was mocking her, playing a cruel game where she was the pawn.
Returning to the Cavanaugh family residence, Felicia faced the wrath of her formidable father.
He unleashed a storm of fury, his words lashing like thunderbolts, condemning her every move.
No one dared come to her defence, not even her mother, who usually had her back.

The next morning, Darya was abruptly awakened by the persistent ringing of her phonenoveldrama
'Miss Zimmermann, why must you disturb people at the crack of dawn! barya grumbled, barely conscious yet.
It's the anniversary of my brother's death, remember? You promised to accompany me to his grave. Blanca's voice lacked its usual liveliness, carrying a tinge of sadness
Darya's grogginess vanished in an instant
She glanced at the calendar on the nightstand and realised she had nearly forgotten the significance of the day.
Just give me a moment. I'll be right there. Darya hurriedly rose from her bed, shaking off the remnants of
sleep
Bianca had a biological brother, but their parents' divorce had separated the siblings.
Bianca went to live with their father, while her brother took their mother's
surname.
According to Bianca, she used to share a strong bond with her brother.
However, as she embarked on her overseas studies, their relationship grew distant.
It was only later, after her brother's passing, that she learned of his death.
They drove to the cemetery, both women clad in mourning attire.
Before marrying Micah, Darya would occasionally accompany Bianca on these visits.
Now, three years had passed, and it felt like a journey back in time.
The air was heavy with sorrow, but the vibrant bouquets in their arms contrasted against the gloom.
Lost in her thoughts, Darya was surprised when she glimpsed two familiar figures before them.
It was Micah and Regina.
'Lucian, don't worry, I'm doing well now. Micah has taken good care of me,'
Regina sobbed, her gaze fixed on Lucian's grave. 'I'll also take good care of
myself
'Regina?' Bianca's temper flared, her voice laced with disdain.
She rushed forward, eyes narrowed in contempt. "What are you doing here, standing in front of my brother's
grave?'
Both Regina and Micah were taken aback by the unexpected encounter.
They had heard Lucian mention his younger sister before, even showing them childhood photos.
Little did they know that the sister in question was Bianca!

Regina's eyes betrayed a hint of panic.
She didn't want Darya to discover that Micah's kindness towards her stemmed
from his promise to his
comrade-in-arms.
If Darya learned that she wasn't the true love occupying Micah's heart, would she
not mock her further?
Before Regina could devise a plan, Micah spoke up, breaking the tension.
What do you think?
