Chapter 56 Happy Together

Chapter 56 Happy Together

Tracy who was asleep in the next morning woke up being surprised by Lara’s cry.

“Don’t cry, Lara. I am here!” Tracy hurried to hug and comfort her daughter.

Clouds emerged in the oriental sky and the alarm clock hadn’t rung.

“Dad! I want dad!” Lara cried sadly.

Tracy then knew why Lara cried again—she couldn’t find Baron when she waked up.

“Lara, I am here!”

Lara heard Baron while crying.

The cry ceased and Lara sent herself into his bosom and choked with sobs, “Dad, I thought you no

longer like me.”

Baron felt guilty, for Lara felt so attached to him because he was away for five years.

Tracy was also extremely upset, for she also wanted to give her daughter the a father and a complete

home.

She couldn’t overcome her unbearable visceral trauma. Baron had been lost for 5 years and she was

utterly down, but her hatred passed away when she occasionally heard that Baron mentioned some

previous precious memories.

Yet, it was still impossible for Tracy to love him; she liked him, but only liked him. Lara was the product

of their faltering relationship without much sweetness.

Lara turned calm after Baron held her for a long while.

Having finished the morning exercise, Baron came back in a sports shirt.

“Lara, dad sweated heavily. Let him bathe first and then hug you, okay?” said Tracy.

Lara restored her energy after crying for a moment and wasn’t reluctant to leave Baron anymore. She

nodded, “Dad, take me out after you bathe, okay?”

Baron looked at Tracy, who lightly nodded, “It is Saturday. We take her out in the day, and Yuri will dine

with us tonight.”

“No problem. I take a shower first.” Baron sat on the bedside holding Lara.

Baron was embarrassed when he stood up and something occurred to him.

Tracy was about to ask but replied in response, “Come into my bedroom to bathe!”

Baron lived in a small-sized storeroom, slept on the ground covered with a shakedown, so there was

no room for a shower.

Baron took his clean clothes and entered the bathroom.

Tracy became horrified and screamed, “Wait!”

But Baron had already got in before she could stop him.

The bathroom wasn’t big, there was a mini front load washer inside, and also several private clothes

hung over the clothes racks.

How could Baron imagine the mystery of the bathroom?

A light aroma permeated the bathroom.

He was instantly smitten by the scent, although he had a daughter. In his life time, Baron only had sex

with Tracy at that night

Baron, who was right in his prime life, couldn’t hold his breath seeing these clothes.

“Stop!”

Tracy rushed in, and was ashamed while Baron fixed his eyes on her private clothes. And she grabbed

them back.

Looking at shy Tracy, Baron showed a cheerful smile, murmuring, “It is probably called living together.”

“Tracy, time for breakfast!”

Tracy was combing Lara’s hair when Yuri rushed in.

“Got it. We will come later.” Tracy said.

But Yuri didn’t leave, staring at Tracy in a smile, “Tracy, I came to call Baron but he wasn’t there. You

see, it’s too early, so where has he gone?”

Yuri said, glancing at the bathroom.

Tracy was at a lost loss and pretended to be calm, “I forget turning off the shower head right after the

bath.”

“Well!” Yuri understood immediately, looked at her messy hair, and ridiculed, “Since when you bathe

without washing your hair?”

“I… I, I forgot turning to turn off the shower head. You go and have your breakfast, or mom will be

unhappy.” Tracy said with a bashful face.

Yuri seemed not to hear that, walking toward Lara in a smile and asked, “Lara, you are so clever so you

must know where your dad is now. Tell me and I will buy you a cake.”

“Dad is bathing!”

Lara had already pointed her finger at the bathroom before Tracy could stop her. Even worse, Lara said

happily, “Aunt Yuri, it was dad who slept with us hugging me last night.”

“Well, you are so lucky. You slept with your father and mother.” Yuri touched her head.

“Yuri, it is not like what you think. Baron…”

Tracy became unnerved and explained hurriedly but was interrupted by Yuri who jeered, “Tracy, you

don’t have to explain. I know. Temporary You have not met each other for long. But you have to control

yourselves. Otherwise, too much sex is bad for your health.”

Looking at Tracy’s nervous face, Yuri hurried to leave the room.

“Yuri!” Yuri had already been out, followed by Tracy’s roar.

Walking out of the bathroom, Baron realized Tracy’s eyes were full of rage.

He asked in confusion, “Tracy, are you OK?”

“Damn!” Tracy then left with Lara.

Baron didn’t know why, “What have I done wrong?”

Then Yuri looked at Baron in a slight smile and asked him suddenly, “Baron, how is your sleep last

night?”

Baron swallowed a mouth of rice and replied, “Not bad!”

“Yuri!”

Tracy became unnerved, “Shut up!”

“Baron, your wife makes fun of me, so you just turn a blind eye?” Yuri pouted and spoke.

Baron showed a cheerful smile on his face, “Yes!”

“Baron, it is not fair!” This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Yuri dared joke boldly, for Sherry and Terry weren’t there.

Baron started to enjoy the life like this. He was willing to sacrifice his ten years of life for a life like this.

The meal ended in a clamor of laughter.

Baron and Tracy went to many places with Lara.

For Tracy, Lara had never been so happy.

Tracy stood not far from them, seeing Baron and Lara sit on the merry-go-round. Lara was excited,

“Run! Run faster! Go! Go! Go!”

“Mom, take photos for dad and me.” Lara cried out when the carrousel came past Tracy.

A stroke of a soft smile appeared on Tracy’s face and she was ready taking to take her SLR camera.

She shot when Baron and her daughter came near again, and the happy moment was preserved in the

camera.

The family played outside for a whole day and Baron didn’t drive them to the Sussi Restaurant where

Yuri invited them to the dinner until it was at dusk.

“Tracy!”

On entering the restaurant with his wife and daughter, Baron heard a familiar sound.

They subconsciously turned around. Zoey was holding Wayne’s hand while walking into the restaurant.

“Who is this?” Wayne asked intentionally.

They met last time in Perry Group and now he played dumb.

Zoey chuckled, “She is my cousin, Tracy. She worked at Samho and she was recently promoted to be

the general manager.”

“Really?” Wayne was surprised and showed a pretentious smile, stretching out his hands, “Hello, I am

Wayne Porter from Kato. My father, Jared Porter, is the general manager of Reflix Group. You must

have heard of him already.” (Edit: The family name of Wayne was once O’Wen, but I’ve changed my

mind and he’s now Wayne Porter. Sorry for the confusion.)

The O’WenPorter family topped Kato, so Wayne kind of swaggered in front of everyone.

But Tracy had never heard of them, glanced at him, and said straightforward, “No, I haven’t heard of

him before!”

Then she held Lara’s hand and came over to the box booked by Yuri.

Wayne’s hand turned stiff, and his expression was unimaginably incredible.
