Chapter 14 I am pregnant and Ari is the father

As Hannah disembarked from Boeing 747, a smiling flight stewardess greeted her "Good Morning Ms Hannah…welcome to San Francisco California"….Good Morning to you too. You look tired, Miss Beautiful, and wow you're pregnant! Congratulations!

Thank you….but I am so sad because my child's father got back to the love of his life, they accidentally met and got back together, leaving my unborn son fatherless. By the way, my name is Cherry.

Hi Cherry, I felt bad for you….

Cherry is walking with her catching her pace….

Can I help you with anything else, Cherry? Do you know me?

Yes, I knew you, Ms Hannah and you knew the father of my unborn child.

Hannah is taken aback….Cherry kept on walking beside her. Say that again, Cherry!

I am desperate, I apologize for approaching you. I am sorry. The father of my child is Ari Davis.

Hannah froze, speechless and stopped walking. Her face is so red, and she felt that she will pass out, her knees are trembling, both hands become cold and a tear went out of her eyes.

I know you're a good person. Please stay away from him, I am begging you. I need him to raise my child, I mean with complete family. For our unborn child sake, please help me. You're the only one who have this power to make this happen.

Then, Cherry stopped walking beside her and disappeared from the crowd.

Hannah does not know how long she was sitting on the chair outside the gate with her luggage on tow.

Auntie Hannah…we are ready to bring you to your place in San Jose. Are you okay, you look pale. Are you hungry? Michael ask. Uncle Ari has been calling you and you're not picking up, what's wrong?

Hannah is still in a trance, speechless. She is angry, disappointed, and full of hate in her heart.

Michael, I am not okay. I need a room in the nearest hotel. I don't want to go home yet. I have to report to our headquarter tomorrow to change plans. I felt weak, I need your help to get to the hotel please.

Michael was confused, he did not ask question anymore. He felt that Hannah was so upset. He does not know why and she doesn't want to talk to his Uncle Ari.

He brought her to Grand Hyatt hotel, get her a room and assist her. He felt that she's going to pass out, she kept on crying.

Michael left her in her room so she can rest, then he called his Uncle Ari.

I don't know know what's going on Uncle Ari, she was and still crying. She looks pale and shocked. I asked her so many times what was the problem but she's not giving me a concrete answer…… She kept quiet and sob uncontrollably. I left her in her room and order food for her. I hope she'll eat. She doesn't want to talk to you.

What just happened? Whatever it is…it happened when she disembark from the plane. She even texted me that the plane is now in San Francisco friendly skies. Find out and let me know. Check on her tomorrow. I will try calling her again. Thank you Michael.

Yes, Uncle. I will keep you posted.

Hannah sent an email to Ari:

Dear Ari, I had a wonderful time with you from that brief encounter after so many years of missing each other. Yes, it is painful but we have to forget each other. It's not our time.

Cherry is pregnant and its your's. Be responsible and be a man. The baby is innocent.

I will always cherish the memories of our love. Please don't contact me anymore. I have to survive this, I am confident that I will. I don't want to see you even in my dreams.

Take care of yourself and your new family.

Hannah

I swear that I'll never love again. The roaring rain had splashed across the airplane window, as Boeing 747 glided to the tarmac of Phnom Penh-Cambodia International Airport. In the rain, Hannah look pale, she stood there for a long time before raising her head determined, walking to the arrival main gate. I can and will handle the pain of losing you Ari. I need to start another chapter of my life.
