CHAPTER 198: THE PROMISE OF REVENGE

Cassian took Maya in his arms and with the little strength he had left he crossed the barrier. He hated himself for not staying, but at that moment they were only a burden for April.

- You seem very confident to be a useless damn.

April ignored her sister’s words of contempt and prepared to attack. That only made them attack, the monsters pounced on April, but none of them touched her, she turned them into ashes with her silver flames.

- I am no longer useless Cira, I am not the same weak and powerless girl whom you constantly tortured.

April threw a ball of silver fire, Cira dodged it with ease and responded.

Cira ordered more monsters to attack, but they turned to ash before touching her.

Cira laughed loudly and said.

- The darkness has never controlled me, everything I do, I do it because I want it, I am fully aware of that.

- Compared to you, I enjoy hurting and causing pain, that has always been my delight, before you asked me why I have been so mean to you, I think that would be a good reason, I hate you and I hurt you because it pleases me.

Cira ordered all the monsters nearby to attack. April wrapped her body in her silver flames making sure that no monster could touch her, then she spread her flames across the battlefield destroying all the monsters in her path.

Cira took advantage of that moment to pounce on her and tried to attack her, but like the monsters, those flames made her scream in pain, she could feel the demon inside her, writhing in pain and screaming begging her to run away, but Cira’s pride was stronger so she didn’t back down, even though those flames were making her go through hell, she persisted in attacking.

She tried to hit Abril, but she intercepted it with ease.

- Damn bitch, I’ll kill you.

Cira continued attacking, but her blows lacked force, Abril stopped them with her hands. She used her magic and hit her back causing Cira to fall to the ground.

- Damn bitch, I’ll kill you.

Abril walked towards her sister with a calm step and responded.

- You threaten me with death, but it seems to me that you are the one who is about to die.

Cira felt as if her insides were melting inside her, as much as she hated to run away, she had no choice but to do so.

She called upon that huge monster that had been fighting with the Fairy Queen to defend her, that monster hurriedly headed towards April. Meanwhile Cira was enveloped in a thick darkness, he told her before disappearing.

- I’m going to take away what you love most, I’ll make you suffer, that trust you have I will break into pieces, I’ll make you a miserable bitch again.

April tried to attack her sister with her silver flames, but then that huge and terrifying monster attacked her, she dodged them as best she could and began to attack that monster, but her flames were not as effective against that monster. Cira took advantage of the confusion and ended up escaping.

April continued attacking that monster. Dantriel and Ethan, as well as the Fairy Queen, joined the battle, together they killed the enormous monster that had emerged from Hades, from the depths of hell.

Cassian rushed to his side and asked.

- Aby are you okay?
