Since she had returned to the human realm, Maya’s feelings towards Cassian had grown stronger, every time she was near him her heart began to beat strongly and she only wanted one thing, to be with him, so much so that she was willing to rebel against the fairy queen even if it led to her death.

Fay seemed to have realized her thoughts since he did not let her be alone with Cassian, he always came to interrupt them claiming that they had work to do, that day she had escaped from Fay’s sight, she had gone to look for Cassian, but on her way she had met a servant who was preaching the good news to everyone she met.

Maya was glad that April had finally woken up, but at the same time she felt a little sad since that meant she had to return to the land of fairies.
