Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1750

"Alright."

Fiona finally caved, and as Jasmine ended the call, she exhaled deeply, feeling like she had just dodged a major bullet. Fiona's threats were nothing to scoff at; Jasmine wasn't about to gamble with her hard-earned achievements.

Jasmine was competent in many aspects, but taking care of herself wasn't one of them. She tended to throw on whatever clothes caught her eye, not bothering with what others might think.

But, to be fair, Fiona could pull off any outfit with her stunning figure and flawless face that could make anyone's heart skip a beat.

After the call, Fiona, feeling a bit restless, headed downstairs for a drink. As she opened the door, she heard the shower running in the bathroom beside the study on the second floor. The light was on, so she tiptoed over. Peeking through the frosted glass, she couldn't see who was inside, but she could hear someone murmuring.

That voice...

Jackson!

Taking yet another cold shower!

A mischievous smile played on her lips, and her face lit up with amusement.

Looks like Jackson wasn't as uninterested in taking things further as he had claimed. He believed that the most special moment should be saved for their wedding night.

Still, Jasmine had a point. Jackson was human, and keeping things bottled up forever wasn't the best idea. So, Fiona figured it was time to give her wardrobe a makeover.

She'd come across some online advice that seemed to fit Jackson's behavior perfectly. Apparently, it was a sign of deep affection. With that comforting thought, Fiona tiptoed back to her room, completely forgetting why she'd gone out, and enjoyed a peaceful sleep, reassured that Jackson's feelings weren't put off by her slightly childish fashion sense.

The next morning, Jasmine swung by to pick up Fiona. Jackson took a quick look at Jasmine, sensing something off.

"Is she feeling alright?" Jackson asked, nodding towards Jasmine.

Recalling last night's awkwardness, Fiona hurried Jasmine out the door, worried she'd spill the beans without meaning to.

“Jackson, Jasmine and I have some errands to run. We'll be back this evening.”

She didn't give Jackson a chance to respond.noveldrama

Jasmine, unceremoniously shoved into the car, shot Fiona an annoyed look.

"I've never seen you so rattled,

sneaking away like a thief," Jasmine teased a hint of disbelief in her

voice

"You and Jackson really are something else."

"Zip it!" Fiona shot back, steering the car with one hand and stuffing a breakfast croissant into Jasmine's mouth with the other. "Just eat your breakfast."

Before long, they reached a familiar boutique, the International Glam store. Today, they were just there as customers, not as bosses on a secret inspection.

Fiona quickly spotted a dress—a chic, fresh everyday style. Just holding it up, it was obvious it would look fantastic on her.

"Fiona, this one looks great. You should try it on."

Jasmine picked out a few more casual outfits for Fiona and then found a seat, ready to enjoy the show of Fiona trying on new styles. She'd never seen Fiona in anything but her usual look.
