She opened the drawer. Inside were all her things-her old lipsticks, some dried up but still neatly lined up. There were also relics from her past, like the broken watch from her school days and a missing necklace, all tucked away in a delicate box. Chloe felt a wave of confusion. She distinctly remembered tossing those broken items in the trash. Why on earth had Linda fished them out and kept them all these years?
